You really need to see it at least once.

Bruh...correct that. Immediately.

He will watch it right after Wrath of Kahn 😀

It’s on the “to-do” list right behind “watch Battleship with Daniel when he revisits NY”

😏🤪

Well this is a relief. Universal seem to have done right by The Big Lebowski.

The Blu-ray was downright farcical. Nothing worse than getting a disc of a film you love so much only to find it's an unmitigated disaster, so bad that it puts you off even watching the film as regularly as you might want. We finally get to put the memory of that mess to bed.

UK release of this one is coming a little later in the year (3rd Dec). US release is tomorrow.

Didn't notice the same site also has Evil Dead comparisons up as well:

Looks very pleasing. Minor enhancement in detail to be sure, not too surprising from a 16mm source, but colour and HDR clearly give the UHD and advantage alongside the superior compression for the grain.

Excellent. I'll pick up Evil Dead 2 for sure. I have little interest in owning the first movie. I watched it a year or so ago and it did not hold up well for me. The Blu-Ray is plenty good enough.

Yeah I’m at odds over Evil Dead. I’m certainly in no hurry to get it if I decide to do so as I’ve never much liked it, but do like 2 (and Army of Darkness).

Surprised December’s slate is still so quiet. There really aren’t many UHDs I plan to get between now and Christmas.

Just finished Hook. Seriously, just let Sony handle all catalog titles. We’d be living in a better UHD world if they were the case.

Oh and Halloween is currently $13 on Amazon. If you hadn’t already bought it.
