You think that’s bad? I already own Oxenfree.

If they start porting Personas to the Switch or all the WiiU stuff I liked? Dead. I’ll buy Tokyo Mirage Sessions again in five seconds :P

Mmm, sales. Only other big get for February is Radiant Historia; then I am hopefully off purchases until Tropical Freeze.

So far, even without the Switch console purchase, I am down at least a couple hundred compared to this time last year. Financial considerations have forced me to exercise some restraint, but it’s nice to see it actually pay off.

I don’t see much for April to threaten things. Far Cry 5 I can wait for a price drop and otherwise it’s just any sales if they’re good enough. Phew, conscientious consumerism is tough work.

I've been restrained too, though I splurged on Ni No Kuni 2. Need to post about it in its thread, it's "interesting".  That purchase of Gamepass on Xbox is already working out to great value.

Though if things work out how I hope in the next few months, I *might* blow my budget for the year with a xbox x.

If anything blew my budget it would be a PS4 Pro, but I’m really trying to avoid that eventuality if I possibly can.

Back under $100! Forgot to cancel humble bundle monthly, doh. I'm actually getting tempted to do something ridiculous & prepay for six months... A regular dripfeed of games with the direct effect of encouraging me not to buy random steam games "in case" they show up. And it's easy to flip spares/unwanted codes. Hmmm...

Gamepass already encouraging me away from buying random xbox games. Two weeks after I buy Overcooked, it'll be added to Gamepass. Doh!

Not having a functional PC is a great excuse to not get Steam stuff, though it excludes my backlog there as well. Catch-22 ;).

I’m pretty happy with the year currently. I’ve bought two full priced games, that’s it. And I’m tucking into my backlog more than usual too. It’s mostly the Nintendo stuff that’ll sink me; I’ll usually get that day one. Donkey Kong, case in point. Same thing will happen in July with Captain Toad.

Much as I want God of War, I can hang on until it’s $40 in a few months.

So that full price Nintendo thing paid off in an odd way. Their new coin program is pretty decent -  the gold coins I earn translate one to one to pennies. I had 1400 saved up from various purchases, which let me grab Owlboy for a solid 50% discount.

Canadian pesos = best pesos.

It’s always the system purchases that sink the total.

Good news: survived summer sale. Bad news: accidentally left Humble Monthly on after signing up for Destiny 2.

and bought an Xbox One. Oops.
