Updated.

Looking at last years thread, I’m well into 70 or so percent near Brian’s spending for the full year of 2018 after a little over half of January and I still have RE2 coming and who knows what else..🤭

Brian is the worst yardstick, he’s too thrifty for such a thread ;)

It's not that I'm thrifty, a few years of doing this made it clear t's pointless for me to buy games I won't have time to play. I still buy too many PC games that don't get the attention they should, even now. And the games I tend to play at the moment are big "lifestyle" games that can consume a lot of play time..

Updated.

Retro collecting is going to push up my totals. Though I still buy plenty today. Difference is I actually play them. :)

My copy of RE2 for the X shipped. Added.

My local retro store is getting a big bunch of NES/SNES/N64 and Gamecube titles from a deal they worked out with a collector on Friday. I see more money spent in my near future.:)

Though as much as I love carts and those platforms I’m really starting to love hunting down PSX/PS2 titles. Massive and incredible libraries for both of those platforms. I’m absolutely loving revisiting titles I didn’t give much attention to back in the day.

...and updated. I don't know if I'll do February at this point LMAO.

My copy of Panzer Dragoon Zwei needed to get replaced. I was doing a general disc cleaning maintenance of all of my Saturn games and noticed two smallish black marks that I could not wipe away. I considered getting it professionally resurfaced as I have with a number of other discs but I held the disc up the light and the light shone right through both marks which is a clear indicator of disc rot. The data is likely lost on both of those sectors. The game boots and plays fine but I wasn't taken a chance. I located a good copy of it at one of my local retro shops for $70 and pounced on it.

It sucks but I can't have a Panzer Dragoon game missing from my collection!
