  1. All MAIN event fights will be five rounds. There will still be three round fights on the under card. Frankly, I don't know how this helps judges. If they can't correctly call a three round fight, another two rounds isn't going to make them smarter.
  2. That's one of the few matchups that could even remotely interest me in sitting through another GSP fight.
  3. Yeah, I'm really looking forward to this game now. And it looks like they got a TON of great character actors to appear in this thing as well. I recognize a lot of faces from Mad Men, various HBO shows and other assorted places.
  4. Dear lord, how did I ever forget the comedy genius known as Richardson the cook? LOL
  5. I've been watching this too, thanks to Amazon's sale. I just finished season 1 last night. I love every single character on this show, even the ones I hate. 99% of the characters all tend towards the grey side of morality, that's why watching the one truly good character on the show in the reverend suffer the way he does is truly heartbreaking stuff. God I love this show.
  6. Me too. Unfortunately it will be a while. GSP defends his title against Jake Shields on April 30th (no way GSP is losing that). He has said he would need quite a bit of time to bulk up for Light Heavyweight. I wouldn't be surprised if the UFC pushes this fight as their big end of year show at the earliest.
  7. I agree completely. Not to mention that True Grit is hilarious. Just about every word that comes out of Rooster Cogburn's mumbled mouth made me laugh.
  8. And...judging by the first hour, AMC has no problems with showing lots of blood and violence. This show so far is meeting all my admittedly lofty expectations.
  9. Good. More lightweights to kick the shit out of Jamie Varner.
  10. I thought the PPV was a snooze-fest with the exception of the main event. In fairness, I was really drunk at the time and was more interested in the baseball game. I was hoping that Jake Shields would get his giant teeth knocked out by Kampmann, but no dice. At least Tito lost; that's always a good thing.
  11. Donald Cerrone vs. Jamie Varner was flippin' EPIC at WEC 51 tonight. Quite possibly fight of the year. Two guys who hate each other, a hot crowd and three rounds of great action.
  12. I'm wearing my SAMCRO shirt as I anxiously anticipate the premiere of Sons tonight.
  13. GREAT night of fights. MMAWeekly is calling Silva's victory the "Immaculate Submission." LOL
