Hey folks I have my old Infocus X1 projector. It has 3700 hours on the bulb (which was starting to look seriously dim. It is rated for 4000 hours. So not much left on the bulb (bulbs run about $200-$350). This is a 4:3 projector, 800x600 native resolution. It will display 480p without doing any scaling which is pretty cool for DVDs. It has an excellent Faroudja deinterlacer as well as a Pixelworks chip for scaling. HD stuff looks great on it. If you've just wanted a projector to play around with here ya go. It works great. Once every few months it would make the noise they nicknamed the "buzz-saw noise" - something with the color wheel - for a couple of minutes. That's about the only acting up it has ever done. Make me an offer.

I saw that vamp had last posted in this thread, figured he'd picked it up. I swear I almost just PM him before posting a thread in the FS forum. But I guess not. I used to get a lot more wear out of portable systems...when I was able to play games at work...but not in the last few years And definitely not now with the new dayshift/real responsibility job. I still drool over it though. Those things are just kewl.

I heart the Nomad but I've been clearing out my old games. No time any more. I'd have been all over this a year or two ago. Someone buy it! Nomads are awesome!

Hey guys Got one of those famous Zenith DVB-318 DVD players up for sale. If you have an HDMI/DVI less set this is one of the only Faroudja DCDi equipped DVD players that will upscale over component and AFAIK the only region free one. And honestly it's only good at 1080i - 480p and 720p show color bleeding. Not sure if anyone on here would want it, but I figured I'd offer. I know there's a few of you with CRT HDTVs that would benefit a lot from an upscaling DVD player over component video. It STILL sells briskly on ebay for over $100+ 2-3 years since they stopped making it. I'll do $100 shipped. Includes remote (fast forward/rewind wheel is a bit sticky sometimes). I'll throw in some component video cables and optical audio cables if you need 'em - I've got plenty extra. I hacked it to region free a few years ago - my wife watches her imported Ally McBeal DVDs on it. (BTW these were also popular with the projector folks because it has a tweakable multi-setting Zoom. People using anamorphic lenses use it to create 2:35:1 on a projector without sidebars...otherwise normally requiring a HTPC).

Gamecube and gbplayer are both black. Dunno if anyone is interested in one of these, make me an offer. I can sell you the GC with a controller or not. Ditto for the saturn (which comes with a/v cables and I can probably toss in a few games like Virtua Fighter Remix).

Hey guys If anyone is interested, my Target has a few copies of Wipeout Pure and Twisted Metal PSP clearanced out for $4.98. I can prob grab 'em for you if anyone is interested. They also had Killer7 for GC for $3.74...some other GC/PS2 titles but nothing I really saw as a great deal yet. We were already spending too much on the 360 for me to pick 'em up (and I don't have time for ebay) but if anyone wants I can ship 'em to you. I could prob even do media mail for about $2 or so. EDIT: I also have Viewtiful Joe for DS @ $5. I couldn't turn down a good game that cheap but neither will I have time to play it.

Rare RPGs Lunar Silver Star Story is in mint condition, I ended up with an extra copy I got from our local mom n pop store - I traded in an old PS1 and a bunch of spare hardware and used the $40 towards the $59 Lunar, figuring I could turn it around for cash pretty easily. It includes the cardboard box, hardbound instructions, cloth map, all 4 discs are pretty much mint. $60 shipped for Lunar: SSS Complete. Persona 2 is new and sealed, one of the reprints, I got it from Gamestop. $35 shipped Lastly, my copy of FF Chronicles. I picked up FFIV for GBA and Chrono Trigger for my SNES. OK, secretvampire and buck, you guys are both after the X'eye and Mario 64 DS. I should give one to one of you and the other to the other as you sent mail at almost the same time. I dunno how you normally work this out on a messageboard. It's kind of a friendly community so I'll go this way if it sounds OK to you guys. I'd say Buck gets the X'eye because he pm'ed a bit faster and he is also offering to take the other Genesis games off my hands too I'll give Mario64 DS to vamp though, does that sound OK ? I no longer have a need for my OTA/QAM HDTV receiver as I was using it for QAM tuning. And my Dish HD receiver does OTA tuning if I get ambitious. Frankly I thought the DVD player part of it sucked, but I'm pretty picky on my DVD image at 100". Other folks on AVSforum are happy with the upconversion. HDTV image was very good, no problems there. I got this refurbished from compgeeks and have had no trouble with it. It's seen maybe 20 hours of use total.
