  4. I got my discs a while ago BTW, the wife put them in my mail pile. Thanks!
  5. I've never really read the local paper, but if I'm on the lookout for something I'll certainly flip through the for sale or freebies ads. Ditto for finding garage sales. Here I hit the website of my local paper to go through them as they post them online as well as in the physical paper. Remember also folks with money to drop on TVs are quite possibly older and thus more likely to do things the old-school way Your average 35-50 yr old quite likely doesn't even know what craigslist is.
  6. I'd go with a For Sale ad in the local paper. For an item of that cost that would be the best route. An ad isn't very expensive.
  7. It's a bunch of seperate shorts. If you haven't seen it, the 2nd Renaissance parts 1 and 2 are a must watch. Must. It's fantastic. It shows the rise of the machines and how the war starts. I also really liked Beyond and A Detective Story. Final Flight of the Osiris shows how they find out about the sentinel attack prior to Matrix Reloaded so that fits into the story.
  8. You've got the Ultimate set coming which includes the Animatrix. The Complete set doesn't come with the animatrix but includes a code for a free download of the animatrix via xblive.
  9. Mine is gone (as soon as I get around to sending it out). I let the folks that PMed me know you had one.
  10. 360 Download freebie that came with the Matrix HD-DVD boxset. For folks without the Animatrix DVD. No need here. PM me if interested.
  11. The wife is weeding out a little of her TVonDVD. $15 each. Here's what we've got One Tree Hill S1,S2 - (S2 is new and unopened) Queer as Folk s1,s2 (s1 new, s2 used) - $15 CSI- S1 new Boston Legal S1 24 - S1,S2,S3,S4 (2-4 new) I also have Northern Exposure S1 ($10) and Sliders S1&2 / S3 - $15 each. Shipping should be cheap, say $5 first title, $2 each additional. If you want I can ship media mail which should be very cheap but slow. Lemme know.
  12. Let me know how this goes. I was going to sell my xbox but the wife needs a region free DVD player that does PAL and I've been thinking about softmodding the xbox instead.
  13. I'll take Conan and Demon Knight off your hands PM sent. Are we supposed to sell adult films on the forum??
  14. The color seperation of standard video and s-video is much better. I was looking for an s-vhs / dvd combo for my dad myself. He still watches VHS tapes but I gave him my old SD 27" TV w s-vid. S-vid should be better for capturing the video - less dot crawl or other composite video issues.
  15. bump: added a bunch of NES games, SNES games.
  16. OK, I traded up to the Toshiba A2 DVD player yesterday. So I've got a 360 add on and an almost-new Oppo 970 DVD player FS. (upgraded because the xbox was too noisy from 3 feet away). Oppo DVD-970HD - costs $149 new at Amazon. We've probably only played DVDs on it maybe a couple dozen times as we've only had it a few months. So it's pretty much new. I'll throw in an optical cable & component cable if you need one. $105 shipped. Xbox 360 HD-DVD add-on - $140 shipped complete w/ remote, installation disc. We've played a disc in it about 4-5 times. It too is basically new.
  17. bump Added Psychonauts for Xbox (wife got stuck and got tired of trying) and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (this made my wife throw up - she gets motion sick from some games, especially FPS-POV games).
  18. bump for changes / additions / subtractions
  19. OK, I beat Dead Rising, great game, probably not coming back to it any time soon. Game is in great shape and complete. How about $27 shipped.
  20. Hey guys I've got a Psyclone PSC01 video switch. I got it cheap refurbed on ebay for like $40 shipped. This, like the joytech and most other sub-$100 component video switches, isn't perfect. Apparently it affects the signal somehow. It works perfectly with my projector and seemed like a great unit. I spent like an hour rewiring my a/v cabinet and then I found out...it doesn't play nice with my Olevia LCD. the LCD TV loses sync with the picture on bright white scenes. It's too bad because it looks great on the projector. So here's the deal. I sell it to anyone who wants it for $20 + shipping. If it works for your setup, cool. If not, I'll refund you the $20. No risk except for the shipping cost. I don't have the remote or anything else for it, but a universal should work or you can hit the switch manually (or like a harmony).
  21. Bump and Edits! Consoles still FS: PSone with LCD, PSone controller, AC adapter. Think I have an a/v cable for this. - $40 Black Gamecube w/ 1 black controller (have AC adapter, needs A/V cable or $5 extra and I'll get one for you): $40 All games complete unless otherwise stated. Xbox - Metal Gear Solid 2 Substinence - $6 Xbox - Mechassault Platinum hits $5 Xbox - Psychonauts - $8 - GONE Xbox - Buffy the Vampire Slayer - $4 PS2 guides - La Pucelle Tactics guide $4 - XenoSaga 2 limited edition guide $5 GC - Pikmin - $5 - GONE GC - Resident Evil 1 - $8 - GONE PS1 - Final Fantasy Anthology - non-GH - $20 obo PS1 - Kartia: The World of Fate - $8 - GONE PS1 - Parasite Eve complete - $6 DC: Capcom vs SNK - $7 - GONE DC: Sonic Adventure $5 DC: Armada (cool shmup/RPG hybrid): $5 Shipping for games is cheap, say $2-$4 depending on how many games. Added: SNES: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island: $5 - GONE SNES: Super Mario World $2 - GONE SNES: Gradius III boxed, manual: $6 - GONE GBA: Classic Castlevania, complete boxed: $4 NES games: Adventures of Lolo $5 Magic of Scheherazade $4 Dr. Mario $3 Galaga $3 Shadowgate: $3 Zelda (gold) $4 Mega Man 2 : $5 Joust: $3 Marble Madness: $3 Maniac Mansion boxed: $10 obo Yoshi complete w/ box/manual : $7 Game Genie w/ book: $3
  22. Hey guys My wife was trading in some games to wherehouse.com but I figured I'd offer them up here for you guys. All games are in very good to perfect condition and complete. Psychonauts for xbox - $11 Buffy (the first one) for xbox - $7 Super Monkey Ball for Wii - $27 Shipping should be $2-$3 or so.
