heavy liquid
I probably would have been more upset before we had LCVG. But I rarely go to Teamxbox anymore, as they've pretty much been on par with the boards at GameFaqs. I'm so very thankful we're able to have some intelligent discussion here. Thanks guys! I did occasionally enjoy the reviews and previews at Teamxbox. They could be very well done. The recent Rainbow Six 3 hands-on preview they had recently was absolutely fantastic, and convinced me to pre-order the game.
Robot Monkey
Yeah, that was a pretty good preview. I stopped visiting regularly when I got tired of wading through all the press release "news" on the site. -j

Guest Bryan
From Ronald's page: McGriddles? breakfast sandwiches provide an innovative way for customers to eat warm golden griddle cakes (with the sweet taste of maple syrup baked right in), and different combinations of savory sausage, crispy bacon, fluffy eggs and melted cheese in a convenient sandwich. Angry the Clown
I see. Much like with electronics, Britain remains a number of years behind in the latest offerings from fast food chains. Mind you, I've not stepped into a McDonald's since an HTF Meet in LA back in 2000 when LCVGs very own Iainl met with the now infamous 'salad' situation. :green: Daniel

OK Daniel, now you've piqued my curiosity. I don't want this to get even further OT, but is this a story you could share with those who are unfamiliar with this so-called "infamous 'salad' situation"? FLYING SE7EN
Dude McGriddles are like money. I think think the current dollar to McGriddle exchange rate is like 5:1!

Angry the Clown
Well, twas a dark night. Black as pitch!!!!! Actually it was around breakfast time when a bunch of us headed to a McDonald's near out hotel in LA to grab some food before heading off to Anaheim to spend the day at Disneyland. Iain being a vegetarian was somewhat lacking in choice, so he sided with a salad. Took that to our table and began to eat it only to find (I think it was) little chunks of ham mixed in with the greens. He'll have to confirm the ham thing, but I do recall the salad being listed as a vegetarian option. I now see having said I've not stepped into a McDonald's since then made it sound like we encountered something living in our breakfasts or something, so I apologize if the story has not met gross out proportions. Nevertheless, it was a fond and funny memory from that trip as it was kind of impossible for a Veggie to get a break in McDonald?s. A few nights later when more people arrived there was a shout of "let's all go get stake for dinner" which was met with a resounding "YEAH!!!!!" and one lone ".....hmmmm. No." Daniel
heavy liquid
Ahh, I see. Thank's for the story! Yes, McDonald's is no place for a vegetarian. Didn't they recently have a lawsuit against them for advertising their french fries as vegetarian, because one of the ingriedients turned out to be beef broth? Mmmmm.... beef broth.... And remember, as the Simpson's say, "You don't make friends with sa-lad, you don't make friends with sa-lad!"
adamsappel
I actually had my first veggie burger from a McDonald's in Amsterdam. Not bad, but then, I was willing to eat anything at that point.

A big bug-bear of mine, they're put on salads far too much, and put on baked potatoes far too fucking much. Bloody weird Yanks

Ryan FB
Didn't you Brits know? As long as the meat is cut up into teeny tiny pieces, it still counts as vegetarian. :green:
