Kitlope
I think someone got a little upset with their banning. http://www.hometheaterspot.com/htsthreads/...hreads.php?Cat= Not too sure what to make of it but it is entertaining. adamsappel
I'm a member over there, as are JTello, gwhinwi and kfredericks I believe. It's a great forum for home theater info (I actually preferred its tech advice to HTF), but the gaming forum isn't as active as HTF once was. The Daisy
Well, the gaming forum really went through some issues last year at some point. I just remember something about a clan being started or something like that. Oh, well. Glen
Starhawk
I used to visit there alot more than I do now, and I gained alot of great tweaking and hardware info from them.
MrJames
I bought my HDTV through the group buys over there last year. Worked out great.

I agree, they've got good HT info/leads there. HTS and AVS Forum have most of the HT info ya could need. And for a gaming community, LCVG can't be beat! :green:
Dave
I was addicted to the Spot when researching HT for the first time, then got hooked on the gaming forum. At some point the owner had a dust-up with most of the really active members and banned some people, causing others to leave (sound familiar?). The gaming forum slowed down immensly, which is when I found HTF and now this place. Memory just popped, the stink was over the organizing of bandofgamers.com

Where do I take the blood oath? I guess I missed those days at the Spot. Great HT advice, but the gaming forums were always slow to me, and what traffic they had was mostly the same old "Is [game] 720p?".
Romier S
The discussion is good so far gents. Please keep in mind we dont want to publically bash any other forum/establishment for any reason. (not that anyone has mind you, just want to keep things on track). Thats not what LCVG is about and Im glad everyone has kept this thread full of constructive criticisms and compliments.
foogledricks
"The Spot" was my "NextGen" of forums for a while. I did all my HDTV research there. I still go there for researching purchases. The gaming area was a blast for a year, and then sadly, it faded. I am glad to have found this forum to compensate.
