At the last minute, work was nice enough to "give" us the four day weekend instead of just Thursday off. The joys of deadlines. We've got family driving down from Oregon for the weekend, and a couple of friends coming over to hang out once dinner's out the way. Our family's never been to SF, so I think we'll be doing lots of sight seeing tomorrow & doing the big treelightning in Union Square.

Have a good long weekend-I could use one of those right about now :)

On a related note-check this out. Sounds like the real way to disassemble a turkey: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/21/dining/21carv.html?em&ex=1195794000&en=70aa1e3aa59cbcae&ei=5087%0A

Also, from Warren Ellis' Bad signal today:

Don't forget, my Yanqui readers, the true meaning of Thanksgiving:

give your neighbours an infected blanket this Thursday and then

move into their houses after they're dead.

Okay this one will take the cake! I'm lost for words. I really don't know what to say....view it yourself.

Warning: Not work safe and don't have small children or mature adults around when you play it! ;)

********

This one has nothing to do with Thanksgiving or Turkey. It's a fake commerical made for Mastercard! Too funny to pass up! :D

Please, you don't have anything due for many months. Relax.

Ha. I have an ever-growing buglist & my own ever growing to-do list that doesn't always reflect that buglist but does match my own personal polish & quality level. Too much to do, too little time. I am thankful the end is in sight.

And I forgot, I did buy two books for my daughter at Barnes & Noble today so I guess they count towards retailers' Black Friday sales. They weren't on sale though ;)
