fretster
Alright... I have a 32" Sammy LCD and have had my 360 hooked up via HDMI to it. I was able to do PiP with normal cable and the 360. I just recently switched to the Component 360 cable (for the optical audio out) and I now cannot watch PiP on my tv. Would getting the 360 VGA cable solve this problem? I have a VGA input on my television. Just want to make sure this would allow me to use PiP so I don't waste the money if it doesn't Thanks! Robot Monkey
Damned if I know about the PIP question, but the picture quality on my 37" LCD is markedly better with my 3rd party VGA connection for some reason (compared to component). I don't know why.
JTello
*not sarcasm* Did you read the manual? Some televisions can display pip with certain types of connectivity but not with other types. I remember reading one of my TV manuals that stated this, can't remember which set it is. fretster
I don't have the manual with me unfortunately. Although I found a official VGA cable on CAG for $15 so I bought that. At the least the problem will remain but I'll at least be able to upconvert
JoeyN
I use a Samsung LCD to game as well. I know with the VGA cable you can use Antenna on PIP(or the regular cable into antenna) as I do that all the time. However I don't see a way to change the PIP to another input if you hook up cable via component, etc.
