Tonner Cyn
Hopefully this is a very simple question to answer - What software (freeware preferably) do I need to take screenshots of DVD playback? We host an Oscar party every year and I was thinking that this could be one of my contests. I just want to be able to pop the dvd in, find the shot I would like to capture, and then be able to do just that. Once I have the images saved I'll either just use the computer to show them or try setting up the media sharing on the 360 or PS3. Thanks! Carlucci
The software that came bundled with my DVD burner called "Power DVD" does this very nicely. Carlos.
Tonner Cyn
That might be the software I have (one of the disadvantages to being at work when I ask). I assume it is just a menu option of some sort?
Carlucci
yes, while watching a dvd, I can just click a button from the little DVD-control widget. It automagically save a .jpg of the screen to the directory of my choosing. Carlos.
Camp
Make sure you post all the titty captures you get here.
Tonner Cyn
Now, now Camp. I really am using it to capture screenshots to use in an Oscar party contest. Though maybe a "name the nipple" contest would work...
Camp
Sounds like a good thread idea for the Polls section.
