Wireless Xbox Live

Recommended Posts

I know there are a few people here using a wireless connection for LIVE.

Which adapter are you guys using?

I have a Linksys Wireless Router, and using my laptop I can get a "Good" connection where my Xbox is. I hope this will be sufficient.

Also, is setup difficult?

Thanks. I need to get this up soon so that I may school Buck in PGR2...

I hate to tell you this, Sam, but you're going to need a lot more than a wireless setup to "school" me ;)

As far as adapters go, you can always pick up the official one.

Thanks for the link! That sounds pretty good, except a quick search of local stores didn't reveal any listings. Plus I don't even know the price. Time to do some shopping, I suppose.

Many have tried, none have succeeded

I won't lie to you, Neo. Every single man or woman who has stood their ground, everyone who has raced Agent Buck in PGR has died. But where they have failed, you will suceed.

Yes sir, I will. :green: :green:

You forgot to change the name Neo to Sam :P

It's ok though, I always welcome competition as it makes me race that much better.

So, in the spirit of competition, I thought I'd go ahead and give you this now. It's probably best to have it sitting next to you while we're racing, since you'll probably be needing them to wipe away those tears when I'm pulling into victory lane.....

You could also get the Linksys Wireless gaming adapter

Isn't that the WET11 or is there another wireless solution from Linksys? [/b]

He means this.

I've got one, and it works pretty well.

For gaming, there is not going to be any difference between 802.11b and 802.11g. BUT, if you have a modded XBox, replayTV, or anything else where you may want to copy huge files across the network, I'd say go with 'g'.

(when I talk about huge files on a modded XBox, I'm talking about collections of music, videos, and roms. seriously)
