Sam P
I know there are a few people here using a wireless connection for LIVE. Which adapter are you guys using? I have a Linksys Wireless Router, and using my laptop I can get a "Good" connection where my Xbox is. I hope this will be sufficient. Also, is setup difficult? Thanks. I need to get this up soon so that I may school Buck in PGR2...

I hate to tell you this, Sam, but you're going to need a lot more than a wireless setup to "school" me As far as adapters go, you can always pick up the official one. Wireless G Adapter for Xbox that won't help you beat Buck in PGR2
Beer Monkey
I've been using a WET11 from the very beginning. Works perfectly, and adds no meaningful latency. It is a teeny bit slower than wired, but nothing that should matter.
Sam P
Hahaha!! Buck, you do realize that you're only going to make my victories taste sweeter... Anyway, I've seen that Adapter, but it seems awfully expensive. I don't need 802.11g compatibility... Beer, What exactly is a WET11?

Sam P
Thanks for the link! That sounds pretty good, except a quick search of local stores didn't reveal any listings. Plus I don't even know the price. Time to do some shopping, I suppose. Many have tried, none have succeeded I won't lie to you, Neo. Every single man or woman who has stood their ground, everyone who has raced Agent Buck in PGR has died. But where they have failed, you will suceed. Yes sir, I will. :green: :green:

Yes sir, I will. :green: :green: You forgot to change the name Neo to Sam It's ok though, I always welcome competition as it makes me race that much better. So, in the spirit of competition, I thought I'd go ahead and give you this now. It's probably best to have it sitting next to you while we're racing, since you'll probably be needing them to wipe away those tears when I'm pulling into victory lane..... Sam P
Thanks Whooter. Is there a price difference between this and the WET11?
Buck
At Amazon the WET11 is $80 and the WGA11B is $65.
Beer Monkey
For gaming, there is not going to be any difference between 802.11b and 802.11g. BUT, if you have a modded XBox, replayTV, or anything else where you may want to copy huge files across the network, I'd say go with 'g'. (when I talk about huge files on a modded XBox, I'm talking about collections of music, videos, and roms. seriously)
Sam P
Thanks guys. I'll probably go with the WGA.
