EnemaEms
So I get home last night just in time to watch the Cubbies, turn on the TV and I am greeted to nothing but clicking. My Samsung Plasma, which is not even 4 months old, decides to crap out. It sounds like a relay in the power supply has gone bad. Luckily it is under warranty. I get to schedule a visit from the local repair today. Hopefully they can get out within the next few days. On a side note, anyone here have issues like this with their Plasmas? I hope this isn't going to be the 1st in a long line of problems. I have had Samsung products before and this is the 1st one I will need repair on. -Dean-
Christopher
I had the exact same thing happen to me (we have the same tv) after owning it for 6-monthes. The entire motherboard had to be replaced. This was all done within 10-days (had to order the motherboard from the USA - should be easier/faster for you) Samsung has a 2-year warranty, so I am not too worried. Once you have had your fourth 360 replaced, all other electronic failures seem acceptable.
EnemaEms
Monday afternoon for repairs. Not bad. -Dean-
exile
Having not owned a Samsung I don't know if it's a common issue. I know of the 10 Panasonics I've installed or helped install, this isn't an issue there. Mine came with a free 5 year warranty thru Visual Apex. EnemaEms
Due to an unfortunate accident, I had to delay my repair until Thursday since I spent the afternoon in the doctor's office. I am stuck at home and my Plasma is broke....There is no God. -Dean-
EnemaEms
Plasma was repaired today. On the original visit, it started working again, but they ordered a new power supply anyway. Last night, it went out again, and after an hour was fine. So a repair visit today was perfect timing. Took him about 30 minutes all together to replace the power supply. -Dean-
