WTB: AGP Video Card

So I won't have money to build a new system for another year or so, and my current video card (9800SE) seems to be the weak link in my current system (Athlon 2600+, 1GB RAM, etc), so I am thinking about upgrading the video card to limp along for another year or so until I can build a whole new system. The only problem is that my mobo is AGP only.

So do any of you guys who have been building new systems have an AGP video card newer than a 9800SE that you would want to part with for a fair price?

Is that an Athlon XP 2600+?

I found my XP 1800+ wasn't cutting it about 4 years ago when I was playing the first Battle For Middle Earth game.

Advice: I wouldn't spend too much on an AGP card.

If no one here has one for you you might try an X800XT or X800pro off ebay...should be able to get one for about $50. Going much higher than an x800 / x850 type card isn't going to benefit you much I don't think.

You are correct on the Athlon XP 2600+. And you read my mind about $50 being the limit. I'm looking at the HD 2600 Pro, which is just under $50 after rebate on newegg, but thought that if someone here had a card gathering dust, I'd take it off their hands :)

Josh - that's good news :)
