Jordan_E
Anyone catch the preview for this last night at the end of the Fringe rerun? It didn't really do much for me, sad to say. But it is Jack Bauer and after almost two years any Jack Bauer is good Jack Bauer. The DVD of this is supposed to be released the Tuesday after it airs and includes the first act of the seventh season opening episode. JoeyN
Did not see it but ready for Jack Bauer hour to return. Just as long as its better then the 2nd half of last season
James T
2nd half? I was watching it, but everything after the last 2/3 needed help. Hopefully the rewrite they're doing for the last little bit goes well for 24. Didn't know about the preview, I guess I have to catch it on youtube later

Jordan_E
I turned to the channel to watch the 10 o'clock news and caught the preview. Was just putting the link up and saw boogieman beat me to it. Anyway, from the preview, this one looks Chloe-less. And the worst news about season 7? Three letters o' doom: K-I-M. JoeyN
2nd half? I was watching it, but everything after the last 2/3 needed help. I loved the start of the season, got kind of slow in the middle like most seasons of 24 do, and then went downhill for me in the 2nd half. Jordan_E
The first two hours of season 6 looked like it was gonna be a killer run, but it looked like they blew their wad with that nuke!
boogieman
The first 4 hours were great....then the slow decline.... into shit. But for me, the time off was needed to lose the stench of S6. Hopefully this movie is good enough to get me excited again.
James T
Link thanks for the link. It didn't really do much for me either, but it is Jack Bauer (as it's already been said) and he's been off tv for long enough. The trailer actually looks like it could have been the new Rambo movie

Whooter
Actually Chloe will be showing up in S7 Okay, so just a slightly shorter NoooooOOOOooooOOOoooo!
Jordan_E
Actually Chloe will be showing up in S7 I meant the movie, not season 7. I've read what's up with Chloe in season 7 and it could be Cliche City, if not handled right.
James T
Really? Not necessarily Rambo 4, just the new Rambo movie in general.
foogledricks
That preview for that movie was completely incoherent. My wife usually asks me what the hell is going on in movies and tv shows. This is one of those few times where I have to ask that question. It was unclear what the role was over half the people in that trailer.
foogledricks
So no one saw this or cared to comment on it?
Jordan_E
Posted over at the Fall TV thread on this one. Tears of the Sun much, Jack?
James T
ya, that was my bad for continuing it in the Fall thread. Forgot about this dedicated thread. Maybe mods can merge the posts into this thread? Regarding Robert Carlyle... if it's not shown on screen, I expect him back (probably as Tony's ally
Paul
It was alright. Not sure they needed two hours to explain how Jack ends up in front of Congress. To me 24 does not work as well in a setting like this because the tech side is just as much a part of the show. Need Chloe. Look forward to season 7 though. Was more excited by upcoming highlights than this movie.
