SCREWNUT
Oh god! The dead are rising from there graves for Halloween 2009!!! The zombie-related news just keeps on coming' date=' as developer Big Rooster, LLC has announced a partnership with Twilight Creations, Inc. to bring Zombies!!! to Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and Steam (DS and Wii versions are also being considered). An adaptation of Twilight's wildly successful board game of the same name, Zombies!!! is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2009. Though there's no information on the videogame version just yet, we do know a thing or two about the product on which it's based. The original tabletop version of Zombies!!! first showed up in 2001, and tasked players with fighting their way out of an undead-infested city that the survivors themselves assembled by placing pieces of the map every turn. The game's unique, cooperatively competitive play style helped propel the Zombies!!! base set and expansions to over 300,000 units sold.[/quote']

secretvampire
I've played the board game, pretty cool.
dogbert
I've heard of it. I'm happy it's coming out for these platforms, I hope the core game is tightened up. There's a great core game in Zombies, it's just flabby & the end game is atrociously paced. I've heard some of the expansions improve it though. JoeyN
I believe I did play this one time a while back and enjoyed it. More board games on Live is a good thing. We just need to get some games going on stuff already out :-)
Ron
I've almost bought the bags of zombies to play with several times. I've never played the game though.
Tonner Cyn
I've seen Zombies!!! in a game shop but have never managed to get myself to pull the trigger due to the limited number of people I know who would be willing to play a board game (the undead subject matter doesn't help either ). I'd more than likely try the XBL version though.
Atomic Dog
I have it at home. Played a couple of times, but recall it seeming to drag on and on. That was with two players, however. Need to give it a go again one of these days. Maybe on Halloween.
dogbert
Apparently once again, Big Rooster have been pulled from a "big" boardgame conversion (the first was Talisman). Twilight Creations are shopping this around again.

dogbert
So whats the next game they are pulled from. They need to make it a threepete Well, the other boardgame conversion they've been associated with so far is "Wings of War" from Fantasy Flight Games. This one they've at least shown screenshots.
