SCREWNUT
Hey guys... Okay here is my problem. I have connected my xbox 360 to my pc via windows media center. Everything is working and runs nice...except for one thing. The remote control will not select or move in the menu section of the media center. neither will my controller!! The damn remote runs everything like the TV and will play dvd's on the xbox...but will not work in media center at all. I can't go up and down the menu list. What am i doing wrong??? Oh the xbox web site and other online sites have no suggestions for this problem at all!
Robot Monkey
Buried in the settings blade somewhere is a setting for the remote. I remember that it gives you two choices. Maybe check that and see if maybe your setting got zapped with the HDMI update that got pushed through recently?
SCREWNUT
Okay found it and changed it to xbox 360 tv remote only. When i press the windows start button on the remote...it opens up windows media center like it should...but thats it...once it gets into the media center the remote stops working. SCREWNUT
I bought it yesterday brand new....maybe it's a dud????
Graeme
If the controller isn't working either, then I doubt it's the remote.
SCREWNUT
This is frustrating. I've looked all over the internet and no answers can be found. A friend of mind had this happen to him too. He just doesn't use windows media center now.
Spike
Greg, have you tried using a wired controller?
