Tonner Cyn
Long story short - My friend who is in management at a Macy's caught someone in their offices and scared them off before they could steal anything. However, the guy did apprently mess with a computer. It is now displaying everything - even the mouse cursor - shifted 90 degrees. This is not one of those monitors that rotates or anything like that. Any ideas how this was done and how to reverse it?
Buck
Not knowing what type of PC or video card he has try the below. CTRL + ALT + UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT, either of them
Ricky G
Start >> Control Panel >> Display >> Settings >> Advanced. Where it is after that depends on the video card. In my system, here there is a tab for the video card, and I have the option to do exactly what you are saying is happening on your friend's PC. Robot Monkey
It is now displaying everything - even the mouse cursor - shifted 90 degrees. This is a pretty common office prank. When no one was looking, the joker picked up the monitor and put it down on its side. To fix, simply pick up the monitor and put it down on a different side. Repeat until the image is right side up. You're welcome.
