Lutter
Street Fighter really fell hard after a good first month, apparently. Also, where's Wii Play? I'd also like to see how well Mad Word sold... guessing not real well. ;__;
JoeyN
Wii Play is 8 down on the list. I'm keeping an eye out for Mad World and GTA:Chinatown numbers as some industry folks throw them out on twitter In NA Halo Wars has sold more then KZ2 639k to 621K Glad to see MLB The Show outsell 2k. 2k Series is a serious joke

Mark E
GTA: Chinatown Wars is amazing. However, it also came out at the same time as the Poke-juggernaut which may have had an effect on sales.

EnemaEms
As for Halo Wars, I have a feeling a lot of the Halo junkies were duped for the simple fact out of 700,000 owners, I have never seen more than 45,000 people online. -Dean-

James T
Sony announced it's hit a million world-wide just the other day. Is that a million sales or a million shipped? Mortal Kombat vs DC did a sneaky thing like that saying they sold a million copies (to stores...which basically means shipped)

Mortal Kombat vs DC did a sneaky thing like that saying they sold a million copies (to stores...which basically means shipped) I know companies like to say shipped instead of sold-thru, I've pointed out the difference here many times NPD tracks Killzone 2 as selling ~600k in North America so it's fair to extrapolate it may very well have sold through 1 million worldwide. Here's the announcement on Joystiq.
Camp
Given the realistic ownership base of the Wii & DS none of us should be surprised at the performance of Chinatown Wars or Mad World.
Lutter
I read on Kotaku this morning that Sega is extremely happy with the 66,000 units of Mad World sold. I guess if the development costs were low enough, that's a couple million dollars in half a month plus whatever they sold in Japan.

Sega America will just have to book translation, marketing & publishing costs for the Western release remember, so what makes them happy may not make Sega as a whole happy

Christopher
I am surprised to see Halo 3 in the top 10 list for Xbox 360 games. Does this game always sell this well, or is it just because the Mythic Map pack was just released? I also noticed 5 of the 10 Wii titles are not published/developed by Nintendo. So much for third party titles not selling on the Wii.
JoeyN
Halo 3 had a price drop to $30. As for the Wii 3rd party sales. Guitar Hero games have been the 3rd party franchise that has sold well on the Wii. Also the mini game stuff like Carnival games has done well. Expect the EA workout thing to do well also. Everything else I wouldn't hold my breath on. Madworld in its debut month was less then 70000 which is not good at all, and Sonic and the Black Knight even less then that. The new house of the dead was even less then that around 45,000 in its debut

Paul
Nintendo may have won again but the 360 was the only console to show growth. Comparison: March 2008/2009 NPD Wii: 721K/601K NDS: 698K/563K 360: 262K/330K PS3: 257K/218K PSP: 297K/168K PS2: 216K/112K How much longer will Sony hold out on a price drop?
