Camp
I gather the Xbox doesn't play CD-Rs? I created a mix CD to dump on the Xbox HD for use with games supporting the soundtrack feature and the Xbox won't read it. Will it do CD-RWs? Is there any way to get songs from my PC to my Xbox? Camp
BTW, the CD I made was CDA...not MP3s.
iainl
It depends on what day your Box was born. The first batch used a DVD drive (all XBox game discs are DVDs, for the few that didn't know; unlike the PS2 it won't boot a CD) that only reads DVDs, full silver CDs and some (not all) CDRWs. Now, though, they use whichever drive from about 3 (Samsung, Pioneer and one other that escapes me, think it might be Philips) is cheapest that week. Some are better at reading CDRs than others. Robot Monkey
Mine turns up its nose at CDRs but has no problem with CDRWs (burned in redbook audio). -j
