Full Spectrum Warrior. I'm really rather excited...

Recommended Posts

I know it got a lot of attention at E3, and it seems rightfully so. I've just been watching the fifteen minute IGN walk through of Full Spectrum Warrior, the 3D RTS game on the X-Box and I am really quite amazed by how it's all coming together. Camera, control, AI, graphics, it all seems absolutely superb. Surely one of the games to look out for in 2004.

IGN insiders really must check the 15 minute video out. It'd be quite remarkable if the game has X-Box Live support. Does anyone know if it will or not?

If the game dosnt have live support it will be a total waste as it could be a huge title for x-box. Im looking forward to this one as well. A while back i saw a sneak peak of a early build and it was even excellent back then.. After the 15 minute video i cant wait to get my hands on it

You mean the same single player experience I had with it on the N64?

I think you mean the same single player experience a lot of people didn't play, as evidenced by the poor sales of Conker's Bad Fur Day for N64.

Not to mention the fact it's a Director's Cut, with added scenes that didn't make the cut on the N64 version.

Dan, I noticed you referred to FSW as a RTS. Was this a typo? I was under the impression that it's a fire-team based FPS in a MOUT setting.

I'm looking forward to FSW's promised "realism" switch (smoke, e.g., does not deploy magically in an instant with the switch activated).

Ahh, never mind, I finally read the info and it is third-person. Interesting!
