Why no Live-compatible wireless controller?

Recommended Posts

Transmitting the voice would add significantly to the price. I'd be surprised if it came in under $80 or so.

You can (sort of) do it though. Using this Logitech controller: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...bayphotohosting

The extra piece with the memory card slots also serves as the receiver for the controller. You could purchase a controller extension cable and move the receiver near you. Then simply plug in your existing headset.

You're still wired (via the headset) but the controller is cordless. Kind of a lame set-up but it's about as close as you can get. The other downfall of this set-up is that the Logitech controller absolutely sucks. It's gigantic and the analog pads are far too "loose".
