Looking forward to this one. Have been for a good while since I read he first preview for it. Is it me or has PC gaming been absolutely HOT! lately??

Elixir says it expects its long-awaited strategy game to go gold in two weeks.

Elixir's Republic: The Revolution has been in development for quite some time and was officially scheduled for release in June. Elixir has now confirmed that Republic is final beta testing, and it's expected that the game will go gold "in the next two weeks." Elixir's Demis Hassabis said that the studio has been using the last few weeks to ensure that the game is "as enjoyable and as bug-free as is possible." An exact release date will be announced soon, after Eidos and Elixir decide on a final date.

Republic: The Revolution is a unique strategy game that challenges players to organize a grassroots political movement and topple a dictatorial president in the fictional former Soviet republic of Novistrana. For more details, check out our previous coverage of the game.

There's a ton of PC titles I'm excited about including:

The one from "aXessfehler, creators of Age of Pseudopods? and Age of Monotremes?, comes a real-time strategy game that is truly for the birds.

"Two of the most popular licenses of all time combine into one delicious sandwich of death-defying speed and action!"

It's also nice to see the PC become home to ultra-specialized controllers like the one for Steel Battalion.
