Yeaaaahhhhhh.

He did good things at Wolves within a budget and up until the last 18 months or so, they were an attacking, interesting team. Given he'll be unable to splash 100s of millions, I hope he wants to play attacking, positive football and grow some youngsters/undervalued talent up.

And keep Kane.

That part is key for your season. Wolves when they first came up were a fun team to watch, they really went for it…similar to Leeds this last season.

Gasp! I incorrectly predicted the outcome of a sporting match. Alert the media! It was 120+ minutes of quality football and Italy deserves the Cup.

England screwed themselves, came out attacking and got that early goal. Then for whatever reason decided to sit back. And what a bunch of shit subs and timing done by Southgate. Placing that 5th shot onto the shoulders of a kid from Arsenal is nonsense, they are professional bottlers over there.

Good to have the EPL back.

Man Utd + Chelsea look f'ing dangerous + improved. Arsenal.... 😄

I know this year is a rebuilding year for us (Spurs), but I genuinely worry that while we rebuild, the big four are going to pull ahead + improve just as much as we can manage. Preseason's given me no idea of the direction or lineup that Nuno wants, and they've failed to rebuild the back four adequately. And let's not talk Kane's shenanigans.

This is brilliant:

I totally missed you posting this. They also gave free season tickets for the fans who had bought a season ticket last year even when they knew they weren't going to actually get to see games, just to help fund the club. Motherwell really is a great community team. Support your local team!

We looked good at times yesterday. I’m really interested to see how Lukaku works out. Timo plays better when he’s got a big striker next to him to pull off defenders. It’s so great to see fans back in the stadiums and hear the songs and cheering.

Yes there is, and it’s great.

Brian what an open to the season for your lot.

We have a bizarrely good track record against Man City at home. Today was weird - no fan I know was expecting that performance, well put together team structure + execution. I still don't have faith in that particular back four, but it worked.

No clue if Kane stays at this point - "not fit" was the official excuse for today - and no clue how this season's going to go.

Rumors are out today about Arsenal reaching out to Conte’s people. I doubt he’d even consider going to work for the Kroenkes. Conte wants control and guaranteed investments, those are something the Kroenkes will never commit to.

Arsenal's buying spree over the last two years feels utterly random. A scattershot pattern vs finding players who will complement one another. And they have a good 6-7 players destined to rot on the bench (Torreira, Willian, Bellerin, Kolasinac...). They need more than a manager change to right this ship.

Man Utd went through something similar after Alex Ferguson - they didn't update the back roomstaff, the recruitment structure, and paid the price with a bunch of high price signings that didn't fit with the team or have enough youngsters come through. Arsenal's got no obvious game plan or structure. Not that I'm complaining. :)

Harry Kane + the club are tweeting he's staying.
