adamsappel
Please tell me that's a chick on the cover, 'cause otherwise I've got a lot of issues to suddenly deal with. But, what's with that freakishly enlarged left hand?
Romier S
Please tell me that's a chick on the cover, 'cause otherwise I've got a lot of issues to suddenly deal with. Your not used the androgynous Castlevania character designs yet? Kojima is very stylistic with how she portrays man in Castlvania titles. Its much more a design decision than anything. Some like it , some don't and some love it (me!). Ayami Kojima can keep making those wonderful covers till she drops! I wish she would release an art book of some type... Mark E
Gorgeous. Serious bishonen undertones have been a staple of Castlevania's designs of late though. Check out the illustrations in the Symphony of the Night instructions for further examples .

Whooter
Your not used the androgynous Castlevania character designs yet? I'm not used to seeing videogame characters "spankin' it to the Whed" on the cover of their game...
Romier S
. Serious bishonen undertones have been a staple of Castlevania's designs of late though Agreed. The same stylistic design work (and undertones) can be found in the latest Vampire Hunter D movie Bloodlust (and even more recently in the Animatrix short "program"). In fact it is very similiar to many of Yoshiaki Kawajiri's works... Vampire Hunter D in fact was as close as I could get a an animated Castlevania film
Mark E
Vampire Hunter D in fact was as close as I could get a an animated Castlevania film If only we could get the hand in a Castlevania game, and use it to suck up power-ups . I can't see how you can possibly compare the Castlevania vibe of Vampire Hunter D with the smashingly accurate portrayal of Simon Belmont we got from 'Captain N: The Game Master'.
