If that’s the case, can I resubmit my list to include Far From Home?  If not, no big deal.

I would say that’s probably ok, as long as you don’t fix your other mistakes too :P

I’ll just add Spider-Man and drop #10 into dark horse.  The order of mistakes selections will otherwise remain unchanged.  😛

EDIT: Done.

New Nickname: AngelP

The website is a bit confusing.

Just got to thesummermoviewager.com

Scroll down to the list form, skipping the login part and just enter your nickname and list.

If you are logged in, log out and make a list.

If you use WhooterMav as your nickname, my links should pick it up.

I wonder if anyone doing this did not pick End Game

There are 4170 people on the Global Leaderboard.

4060 of those people have it at number 1.

94 people have it at number 2.

7 have it at number 3.

4 have at 4 or lower.

1 has it as a Dark Horse.

4 don’t have it on their list at all.

The few that don’t have it at all, I wonder if they either didn’t realize that Avengers counted, or are playing in a pool where they weren’t allowed to pick it.

The guy who has it as a Dark Horse... well his list is almost as bad as JubJub’s.

This weekend, the real game starts. Avengers has planted itself at the top (as expected) and Detective Pikachu has had a strong, but not spectacular start that will probably place it in the bottom half when all is said an done.

This weekend is looking like those that had faith in John Wick 3 (not me evidently) will be rewarded as it is looking like it will have a very strong opening weekend. John and his dog should overtake the kid and his yellow electric talking squirrel pretty quickly.

Been awhile since any sort of update. Here's the current leaderboard:

Updated: 06/08/2019 jubjub75   CaptDS9E   whootermav   AngelP   AverageJoe   Shundi   KKilz
   1. Avengers: Endgame $820,817,940      13           13           13           13           13           13           13

   3. Detective Pikachu $135,256,719        3             3                       1             5             3             3
   4. John Wick 3 $133,192,998        7           1             7             3           1                       1
   5. Godzilla 2 $67,257,097        7             7             7             5             3             3             3
   6. Rocketman $40,258,756      1                                                             3           1
   7. The Intruder (2019) $34,636,180
   8. The Hustle $34,013,355
   9. Long Shot $30,066,456
   10. Ma $27,238,075
   11. A Dog's Journey $20,070,820
   12. Uglydolls $19,724,518
   13. The Secret Life of Pets 2 $17,425,000                     5.              9.              6.              8.              6.              7.

Jubjub is currently leading, but primarily due to how high he put John Wick and Godzilla, which start to fall down the list soon. Aladdin has done well and will probably end up in the 4-6 range, which is where most of us have it (although Whooter doesn't have it at all). Pre-sales for Toy Story have apparently "destroyed" Incredibles 2's pre-sales from last year, so expect a big opening for it in a few weeks (and expect it to have legs).

Secret Life of Pets 2 and X-men: Dark Phoenix opened this weekend and do not look to be off to the best of starts. Pets could be one of those ones that's on most people's lists, and doesn't even make it into the top 10.

Joey and I sure are going to lose a lot of points once Toy Story 4 and The Lion King pushes everything but Endgame down the list.  :)

Ok, it's been awhile since an update. I kept waiting for a weekend movie to be added, and then would forget to post the board.

   12. Annabelle Comes Home $63,471,613
   13. Yesterday $51,638,115
I swear I didn't wait until I was at the top to update this. Lion King will be storming onto the board after this weekend and will probably start in #5 or 6 and then move on up. After that, only Hobbs and Shaw, and possibly Once Upon A Time in Hollywood really have any shot of cracking the top 10.

Positioning is going to very important this year.

I’m going to be losing some big points soon though.

And with the entry of Hobbs & Shaw into the top 10, things change rather dramatically. KKilz jumps up from 66 points to 79 to take the lead. Unfortunately, that will probably be short lived as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is likely to pass Godzilla, which means he will lose 13 points to drop to 66 and Capt and I will be tied with 69 (I think). The final position of Hobbs and Shaw looks like it may make all the difference.

Yeah for the third year in a row I am in a close race. Last year I won by a point,  before that I lost by a point. Could come down to Labor Day Monday :colbert:. I gotta hope Hobbes and Shaw $$ takes a hit when Angel has Fallen comes out next week.
