If I were to "upgrade" to the bundle, how the hell do they handle that? I'm guessing I'm SOL. There is no benefit to bundling Hulu given the promotion I already have. I also assume other's here are in the same situation. I looked into this recently. If you're on the prepaid dirt cheap 3 for price of 2 plan, you can "upgrade" to the bundle and they prorate the price. It's more expensive than what you're currently paying, at least it was when I looked for me. It's a deal for new subs.
JoeyN 1,297
Unless you really need espn, better off getting the $1.99 a month hulu deal every time BLack Friday comes around along with disney +

Australia's list includes Unbreakable which I know has a 4k master ready to go. I can only assume it's tied up with licensing to another channel here for a while longer (likewise Bob's Burgers which Australia is also getting but we're not just yet). There's expected to be even more than the above on the 23rd though (the promise is "over 400 titles') so we'll see. Toys is nice to see. I've always had a soft spot for that curio of a film and it never had a blu-ray or iTunes release.

Angry the Clown 4,229
The Muppet Show upscales look really nice, and from the episodes I checked they are thankfully the UK broadcast versions. The Chris Langham episode is missing, which is no real surprise, but the Brooke Shields episode isn't there either which is strange (I can only assume there was a rights issue they just couldn't clear, or she wouldn't sign off on the episode). iainl, Dan B. and Magness
Dan B. 203
There are a few musical guests I recall that I look forward to seeing again. The show is one of my earliest childhood memories.
Angry the Clown 4,229
Further details on edits and omissions here: On the Brooke Shields episode being missing: Quote Despite being previously released on the (non-Disney) Time-Life “Best of The Muppet Show” set, there were music rights issues that kept it from appearing on Disney+. Since Disney chose to remove the episode entirely rather than release an edited version, we’re holding out hope that they’re continuing to try and secure the rights so it may be added at a later date. And some strangeness surrounding further missing episodes: Quote Here in the US, we’re missing the Kaye Ballard episode, which has been previously cleared for release on The Muppet Show‘s season 1 release. Our friends in Europe have reporting missing the John Denver and Spike Milligan episodes. Again, we’re hoping this is just a mistake and will be remedied. They're right. I'm not seeing the John Denver or Spike Milligan episodes listed at all on this side of the Atlantic. The Kaye Ballard episode is there for me though. You can even see on the season episode listings that Ep1 of Season 4 (John Denver) is not listed here. It just begins with Episode 2. Season 3 goes from episode 14 to 16, where the Spike Milligan ep should sit between. That episode should in fact be 17, and so the order of several episodes has been messed up. Hopefully they will indeed fix this. There are in fact some missing segments in some episodes too: Quote In addition to the episode cuts, we’re already hearing reports of missing segments. Despite being assured that the episodes will be presented in-full, there have been various cuts throughout the series. Thanks to eagle-eyed Reddit user Itachilshtar, here’s a seemingly complete list of edits: Bernadette Peters: “They Call the Wind Maria” and “I’m Five” missing Don Knots: “Lullaby of Birdland” missing and all scenes referencing it Cheryl Ladd: UK Spot “There’s A New Sound” missing Danny Kaye: UK Spot “Jogging” missing Roger Miller: UK Spot “Down at the Old Bull and Bush” missing Anne Murray: “Dancing on the Ceiling” missing James Coburn: UK Spot “Bird Walk” missing Tony Randall: “Ti-Pi-Tin” missing Hal Linden: “If I Ruled the World” missing Wally Boag: “The Ying Tong Song” missing Buddy Rich: UK Spot “A Transport of Delight” missing Marty Feldman: “Sesame Street Theme” missing https://www.toughpigs.com/tms-edits/?fbclid=IwAR2VWB-Xj7H2ROgxjB27xceRpBr9Ygk9uf9qmJ4jxQAvARPIMjJ-1dYW1q0

The way I remember it, the whole thing was Fozzie becoming an official "cool guy" because he booked that song for the band (I think Don Knots played upright bass on it). I have no idea why I remember that...
Angry the Clown 4,229
I don't think that's an episode I have actually ever seen.

Angry the Clown 4,229
Star is now live in the UK. I'm not seeing any surprise 4k titles amongst the new additions (if there's a 4k disc or 4k on iTunes then it's 4k here though, with puzzling exceptions like The Favourite which is only HD on Star despite being 4k on iTunes). We don't have Speed on the service here in the UK, but despite the 4k master existing the countries where it is appearing on Star only have it in HD for now too. It's weird seeing R rated stuff suddenly populating the main page alongside all the Disney movies. What do you kids want to watch? Cronenberg's The Fly or Mary Poppins? There's also a trio of National Geographic Nazi documentaries which I have to assume are new additions under the Star banner?! Weirder still is the fact Disney still seem happy to give the film Powder a place in their library and merrily allow its writer/director to enjoy residual kickbacks. Kranix 73
Yup, live in Canada as well. Definitely appreciate the ability to set a PIN on Star-enabled profiles.
Angry the Clown 4,229
I had access to a limited library on Star at first until it requested my password which unlocked everything. It's a shame Bob's Burgers isn't on the UK service yet as Amazon still have the licence to stream it here. Likewise Modern Family only goes up to s8 for now on Star here. I've decided that I will let my annual subscription lapse next month and just switch to paying monthly as and when I see fit, but I do potentially have an opportunity to redeem 6 more months for free via a reward scheme so I may be able to cover myself through to the end of September.
