Zathras
It will be interesting to see the Double Dash numbers for December. It only came out mid-November correct?
The Daisy
A sad thing for Sega there... Monkey Ball 2 didn't outsell 1? What up with that? Glad to see that Metroid broke a million. Glen
Dan B.
Only 240,000 of you fuckers bought Eternal Darkness?! :x "Bankorok, Redgormor, Xel'lotath"

Dan B.
Mark, I'm glad that at least one of the 240,000 Eternal Darkness owners out there understood that reference. 8)

The Daisy
ED was easily one of the best games I've played in recent memory. Funny how most of the titles I would put on my best games list are on that list up above.... Glen
iainl
"F-Zero GX - 152,407" - what? That is just pure madness. Sure, its a seriously evil game to get the hang of, but its just so, so fast. "Monkey Ball 2 didn't outsell 1? What up with that?" Easy answer: It isn't as good. MB2 is an ideal purchase for those of us that need more levels, and the multiplayer games are indeed more fun by and large, but for singleplayer the original levels are the best by a long shot. Starhawk
I really liked the push IGN gave recently. Something to the effect of "Buy Eternal Darkness for a friend!" since it had just dropped to around $20. One of the best bargains in videogaming, indeed. OddJobPrime
Sega doesn't advertise enough, at least not from what I can tell. Also, they need to sit down and really work on making a true, AAA killer app. to get their name back into peoples' heads. Right now, I find they're stagnating. danger9777
Agreed....I never see any Sega games advertised. We've seen what happens when Sega and Nintendo work together....they make games like F-Zero GX. I would love to see them work together on another big project. Unfortunately, with the recent purchase of a large stake of Sega by Sammy, I don't know what this means for Sega's future.
secretvampire
I just bought Eternal Darkness used at EBgames.com for $6, so I can finally see what all the fuss is about.
