MastaRedSnappa
After playing Streets of Rage 4, I was hoping they would do an updated TMNT beat'em up game. Day one purchase!

Hoping the stubbed toe animation is in there too! Do we know if they're targeting 2021 for this, or is it more realistic to set expectations for 2022? I feel like the latter. Graeme
Hmmm. Happy to see this. I loved the original arcade game and Turtles in time. That version of the classic Chuck Lorre opening song though is not good. Also after that opening, I wasn’t expecting pixel art. I don’t dislike it, but I was expecting more of a hand drawn style like Streets of Rage 4.

It would definitely be cool it it had both hand-drawn and pixel art styles that you could choose from like SoR4.

MastaRedSnappa
You were right about the theme song. In my excitement to see the gameplay, I didn't notice that the theme song had changed. It sounds like a cover band version of the song. I wonder why they didn't just use the original version of the song?

It's also why the most recent Arcade1up cabinet had to change it as well.

Starhawk
That's great. When TMNT was at its peak, most of us were probably at that perfect age where it really grabbed us. I have memories of saving up quarters and going to the Roses department store near where I lived to see how far I'd be able to get. This wasn't an arcade, so the machines weren't always busy, but I remember other guys joining in on the 4 player cab this particular time which was really fun. This was likely '89 or '90, so we were still in the NES era, and the graphics and sound of this cabinet really blew me away. I was super excited when they ported it to the NES and got it that Christmas. Crazy we are getting the Cowabunga Collection and this all in the same year 🐢
JoeyN
Yeah down the block from us was a indoor flea market. The food court had an arcade area with TMNT, Simpsons and a bunch of other games. We spent a lot of time there. Starhawk
