Do we know if they're targeting 2021 for this, or is it more realistic to set expectations for 2022? I feel like the latter.

Hmmm. Happy to see this. I loved the original arcade game and Turtles in time. 

 

That version of the classic Chuck Lorre opening song though is not good. 
 

Also after that opening, I wasn’t expecting pixel art. I don’t dislike it, but I was expecting more of a hand drawn style like Streets of Rage 4.

It would definitely be cool it it had both hand-drawn and pixel art styles that you could choose from like SoR4.

The original version has been in licensing hell for years. It's also why the most recent Arcade1up cabinet had to change it as well.
