What on Earth is the thinking behind the DLC packs?

Is Christian whitehead/Taxman involved in any capacity? If so that'd make it an eventual sale for me. I think it would have been nice to include the Master System and Game Gear games too to make it more comprehensive like one of those Konami compilations though. Spinball and Mean Bean Machine would have also been nice additions.

I have had a lot of trouble enjoying old games I used to love. Like Sonic. I’ve tried the old Sonic games and I either feel numb and unengaged or frustrated by my deaths.

Similarly I have not enjoyed almost any NES and SNES games on the Switch. I ised to love Zelda 2 back in the day. I hated every second of it when trying to play it recently.

My brain worked differently back then.

I'm quite the opposite lately, but completely understand where you're coming from. I'm finding myself more enamoured with games of old these days. If I had the money to spend I'd have fallen down the retro rabbit hole with Romier some time ago I suspect, but I've no doubt that for a lot of people old game mechanics and graphics are difficult to return to.
