Robot Monkey
Bryan, I don't have the 1801, although I've set up a couple higher models. So take this with a grain of salt: 1. You can't assign the Input2 to DVD for the Xbox because your DVD is using it on Input1. 2. You did the right thing by trying to assign another component/device to Input2 for the Xbox, but CD is no good: you want to assign a component that has video associated with it. Try VCR1 or something similar. 3. Go to your Xbox dashboard and make sure DD and DTS are enabled as well as surround sound. 4. Make sure your receiver is on VCR1 when you want to play Xbox. -j

kelley
Thats why I wish more recievers would let you edit the name of the input. My JVC would do that, too bad she had to blow her rear amps.

Robot Monkey
I'm glad it worked for you! But ... I can take your fixes, apply them, and not owe you one damn penny! I think there's been a terrible misunderstanding. -j
