Romier S
A sad day for fans of movie/TV Show composers and music in general. His music for Twin Peaks furthered my love of TV/Film scores in my youth and his collaborations with David Lynch in general were haunting and epic. R.I.P. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/angelo-badalamenti-dead-david-lynch-composer-blue-velvet-1235280660/ Quote Angelo Badalamenti, the acclaimed David Lynch composer who went from teaching in junior high school in Brooklyn to creating haunting, ethereal music for the filmmaker’s Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks and Mulholland Drive, has died. He was 85. Badalamenti died Sunday of natural causes surrounded by family at his home in Lincoln Park, New Jersey, his niece Frances Badalamenti told The Hollywood Reporter. Angry the Clown
He was a wonderful composer, and one of the last great rare unique voices in film music. Even beyond Lynch he's written some fantastic scores (I had already wanted to schedule a moment to watch the 4k disc of City of Lost Children over the weekend, which will now serve as a nice viewing to remember him). King of All Cosmos
Lynch uses sound and music so masterfully, and Badalamenti was the perfect choice to compose the scores. It'll be strange to have future Lynch films without that trademark sound. Angry the Clown
