Graeme
So we can expect a Horizon show on Apple+ with Ronald Moore as show runner soon?

A series is already in the works at Netflix. Last year Sony announced a bunch of their properties were getting shows, but nobody was attached yet. To be fair, Ronald Moore as the show runner would have been an absolutely epic “get” for a Horizon show.:) In addition to the shows, Ghost of Tsushima is getting a movie, too. I haven’t watched it, but my wife really liked it.
foogledricks
The effects necessary for any of these blockbuster franchises is so extreme, making them unlikely to be much more than a shallow spectacle. I could imagine an amazing version of God of War or Horizen. But I have more faith in DC making a compelling cinematic universe than streamers making prestige TV from video game properties. The exception being Last of Us. That seems like an exceptional property for adaption. GOW seems more like a cartoon than a live action franchise. Unless they toned down crazy, super natural violence a lot. Horizen too. Robot dinosaurs are just too expensive to represent in a live action show without major compromises.
