adamsappel
EB Games (online and B&M) will take four used, non-sports games (no football, baseball, basketball or soccer) in exchange for a free $50 title. I think the B&M deal requires a coupon found in the February GMR magazine. Online you'll get an email voucher code. Not a shabby deal in and of itself, but you can pre-order Final Fantasy XI with this deal and get the hard drive that comes with it for $50, rather than the $99 list price. While I have no idea whether the hard drive will be supported in other ways, and I have no real interest in FFXI or its attendant monthly fees, the 40 gig HDD for $50 ain't bad. Trade-in towards FFXI.
Crippler
I saw the following at Target: FFX-2 - $39.99 Top Spin - $29.99 In the last wrap up I posted Freedom Fighters was $30 at Target's bargin bin. Well when I was there today I saw i in the PS2 section for $49.99. Then when I was in the bargin section today they had Top Spin marked down to $30, but when I looked in the xbox section it was $49.99. It probably is a case of dumb employees, but be careful. EDIT - I just got back and came home with Top Spin. The copy in the bargin bin was gone, but there was one game left in the xbox glass. It was marked $50, but rang up at $30. It would be wise to call as this could just be my local Target.
The Daisy
Hehehe.... Gotta love the suspense... Silent Storm, for the PC, was the other title. From everything I've read, it's a great PC title. It's been out in Europe for a while now, I believe. Glen

The Daisy
Um, no.... Virtual Vixens have never been much of a reason for me to own, much less enjoy, a game. Glen
General Zot
Glen, Minor suggestion: just before the game of the week, maybe listed all the new games that week you are choosing from. I know they are listed in the calender on LCVG, but I never remember to check the calander (and I almost always see your thread on Mondays.) So sometimes I miss something almost as good as the GOTW because I just don't know to look for it. Best and thanks
The Daisy
Yeah, I had thought about doing that in the past, but we ended up going this way just for simplicity. Sadly, it adds twice the work for me to have to write up the new titles that are coming out each week, and doing the calendar. I think in the future, we'll have a system that will work out well for everyone. Glen

Carlucci
I didn't want to start a whole new thread so I'll post it here: I've got a gift card code that EA sent to me for $15 off any purchase of $15 or more at http://eastore.ea.com/. I'm giving the code away, since there are no EA games that I currently want, and it must be used by 2/15. So, first one to respond here (not via PM) gets the code. I will send it to you via PM. BTW, They've got NFL Street with free shipping, and they are taking pre-orders on 007:EoN I make no guarantee that the code will work for anyone else but me, but it's worth a shot. Carlos.
