Mark E
Not sure how many of you know about this site: http://www.espgame.org/ The object of the game is that you play with a random partner who is selected anonymously. You and your partner are given a series of images and have to "say" the same word to describe the image, plus or minus a series of taboo words. At the end you get ranked and you never know who your partner is. It's almost a social experiment more than a game, but it is deadly fascinating and a great way to kill a couple of minutes. Sam P
Fascinating! I'll get right on it. Damn you and your distractions, Mark. I never get any work done around here.
Sam P
Did my virgin run. Very cool idea!! Too bad you can't hook up to play with friends.
Mark E
Sam, if that was you who couldn't get that circuit diagram, I swear I'll kick your ass . Like I said, awesome way to kill a few minutes. It's fascinating to put in all the "obvious" answers to a picture and realize that your unknown partner is on a completely different wavelength than you are. Sam P
Oh! So that's what it was! A circuit! Yeah, and you sometimes get someone who just totally 'clicks'! Others you wonder if your partner is even literate. On my third run I got a 70th percentile with an equally brilliant stranger.
Sam P
BOOYAH, beautiful stranger! 85th percentile. We realized quickly that both of us like to list the colours we see, in addition to describing the image itself. That was invaluable that round. Mark E
95th percentile. You have much to learn, young Jedi . I got a color-picking person too, though for some reason we could not describe this picture of a monster-looking dude with this evil grin.
