Robot Monkey
I thought I'd start a new round of Post Your Destop. The old topic can be found here. Here's mine, shrunk down a bit. Yes, I like a clean desktop. -j

Scar
Well, since I don't know how to take a pic of my desktop, I'll just show you the wallpaper I'm currently using on my work and home PCs. All of the recent Steel Battalion talk has got me excited.

Kain rising
My desktop at work (I like clean desktops too - at least as clean as you can get with Win2K )
Beer Monkey
Some of you XP guys need to switch your start/task bar to the classic view. As for me, I keep a very messy desktop...no point in having it if not using it.
Buck
Here's a link to the full size to make it easier guessing the shortcut's in the quick launch. Full size desktop
Romier S
Kain You MUST! send me that Rez desktop immediately!!! Your membership here depends on it. Carlucci
I guess I'm just old-school on PC usage too! The only time I see my wallpaper is when I Lock the Desktop, but then I have the ol' "press ctrl-alt-del" dialogue box blocking the view, so why bother? At work, we are required to lock our desktops whenever we leave our desks, so I went through the trouble of creating a picture of my daughter that I offset down by a few inches so I could still see her face when that box is up. This way I get a glimpse of my Sarah when I return to my desk. I NEVER go to the desktop for anything, I just launch apps for the quicklaunch or the office toolbar. And I've been using ALT-TAB to switch between apps since the windows 3.x days. Having said all that, I have the master chief from the Halo2 pics at IGN. But I never see it. Carlos. Bruce B
A pic I took from our balcony on our last visit to Cancun. This is the only pic I had without bare breasts in it.

The only time I see my wallpaper is when I Lock the Desktop, but then I have the ol' "press ctrl-alt-del" dialogue box blocking the view, so why bother? I still don't use wallpaper...I'm still always looking for that additional .001% improvement in performance. I NEVER go to the desktop for anything, I just launch apps for the quicklaunch or the office toolbar. And I've been using ALT-TAB to switch between apps since the windows 3.x days. I don't use the desktop for apps...but I do keep many document shortcuts there, for things I need quick access to. This is the only pic I had without bare breasts in it. Isn't there a forum rule about talking about breast photos without sharing the photos?

Bruce B
In hindsight its either my thumb, the roof of the adjacent building, or the couple we went with, my wifes friend, has enormous implants.
