JTello
Since both games will be going 'Live' this year I'm really looking forward to both of these games. I only intend on getting one, so I think I'm going to have a tough decision to make. Lucky me. So, which title are you guys looking forward to more? I suspect Rallisport Challenge 2 might edge out Colin McRae for me, but I'll hold off my final decision until they are released.
JTello
OK, where are all of our British LCVGer's! iainl, Daniel Brecher, you boys are from across the pond, right? You guys gotta back the rally threads. I think rally trails soccer (football) and rugby in popularity here in the U.S., it needs some loving chaps! Chris F
My first pick is RC2. But since CMR is only 20 bucks, IF it's good, I'll pick it up as well.
rustyjaw
CMR4 is only going to have live scoreboards, not Live racing. I'm getting both. In terms of gameplay CMR3 is the best rally game I've ever played. It's weakness was the lack of variety (you had to race as Colin in the Ford). They have corrected that, and they have moved to 4-point physics on the cars, which should make it frightfully realistic (although there are sliders for realism, IIRC). I didn't like RSC as much, but the addition of Live is huge, and should make it tons of fun. If they improve the physics it should be a great game. adamsappel
I'm getting both (CMR4 at $20 is a steal), but I'll spend most of my time with RSC2. It wasn't the greatest rally racer, but driving on Live will be great.
Romier S
Both. For 20 bucks Colin as mentioned is a steal.
Buck
I agree with Allen on this. I'll be buying both, but I'm sure RSC2 will be getting more playtime from me.
Dan B.
The online play of RSC 2 gives it a slight edge for me, but I'll defintely be getting both also.
Robot Monkey
RSC2. I enjoyed the first one and it seemed more accesible to me than CMR. Although I enjoy watching rally racing in all its flavors on Speed more than either game. And I want Live-enabled co-drivers! -j
Orpheus
Wish there had been an option for both. I really like rally games even though I'm pretty bad in general at racing games. I'll be picking these 2 up for certain. X-pand Rally looks rather interesting as well.
JTello
Wish there had been an option for both. I hear what you are saying,... but I gotta say I really wanted people to make a choice, that's why I left off the 'both' option.
rustyjaw
There, I threw in a vote for the underdog
AnthonyVolpe
Getting both, however RS2 gets the nod for online play
