Hank Scorpio
Hey gang, This may be old news but I was going through my fliers here at work and saw that Season One of In Living Color is being released on April 6. Sign me up! I was watching it when it aired on FX, but it's not on TV anywhere anymore.
The Daisy
Man... I'm just wondering how funny some of the stuff will continue to be now. That was 14 or 15 years ago. Glen
Hank Scorpio
No doubt that some the material won't stand the test of time. But I'm looking forward to seeing the Jim Carrey sketches, and I know I'll laugh at Homey the Clown.
Mark E
Yeah, some of the early Jim Carrey stuff is comedy gold. The Bill Clinton song parody of 'Ain't Nobody Humpin' Around' is just priceless.
Robot Monkey
I saw a handful of episodes on FX a little while ago and was pleasantly surprised to see how well the show held up. Did they pull it off FX in anticipation of the DVD release(s)? -j
Romier S
I saw a handful of episodes on FX a little while ago and was pleasantly surprised to see how well the show held up. Same here. If anything the "Men on Film" sketches are still as hilarious as they were back then. I still remember the Superbowl special. David Allen Grier goes down to hike the football and Damon Wayans stands behind him for a few seconds, looks up at the camera and says "Oh I think I've played this game before". I still laugh myself off every time. :lmfao:
