The Daisy
I don't know what's up with me at this point. I'm only in February, and I've already completed 3 games this year. Ico, Metroid: Zero Mission, and Champions of Norrath. I'm debating going back to Zelda: Wind Waker to wrap that one up next. What's wrong with me? I've gone through entire years where I don't finish a game. Why now have I gotten the urge to be a "completionist?" Glen
JTello
Something's in the water nationwide! I've finished Mafia and near the end of Splinter Cell. :tu:
danger9777
I finished BG&E, Zero Mission, Magical Tetris Challenge (quest mode), and am on the verge of finishing Half Life. Need to keep moving so I can beat it in time for Twin Snakes
exile
Glen, Are you just not buying as much as you normally do so you are playing what you have now? Just trying to guess at this point..
iainl
This is meant to be the year of completing things for me, too - I've vowed to only buy one game for each completed one this year. So far, I've just done 1080: Avalanche, but I'm near the end of Kuru Kuru Kururin and PGR2 at least.
The Daisy
exile, Nope. I'm buying more games than ever. For some reason though, I've just been going through a phase where I seem to want to play a game through. I did start Metal Arms the other day, and for whatever reason... I'm just not into it right now. Probably because of the large differences between a shooter and CoN, my last title that I finished. Romier S
Not so much this year but last year I was an animal. I think I finished at the very least 40-45 games in the full year. I bought more games than ever too but for some reason I really had focus when I was playing each title. I usually like to split my time up between several games at a time but during of the down months of last year I would start something up like Otogi or single player R63 and play the dame thing for a few days at a time till they were completed and I just kept doing. Writing and keeping reviews for a ton of those games helped also since I had a purpose but I have to say I'm really satisfied with how many games I actually sat down and took care of. (and yet I still have a backlog :wtf: )
Calvin
So far this year I've beaten: The Sims (console version) Kingdom Hearts Links LOTR: ROTK ESPN NFL Football (season) Onimusha 2 & about to beat Luigi's Mansion To me,that is a small miracle. I need to keep up the pace, though :green:
dogbert
Games have endings??
iainl
That depends, really. Technically, I saw the end of Rez years ago, but that doesn't mean I've finished playing it. I'd love to hear what counts as completing Crazy Taxi, too.
The Daisy
Calvin, Funny that you finshed Kingdom Hearts this year. That one is on my list of titles to work on for this year as well. Glen
MLivaudais
just beat splinter cell here. I've also finished kola cell, one of the downloadable levels. 2 more to go. I'll finish just in time for Pandora's Tomorrow :green: Next on the agenda is Ratchet & Clank, Beyond Good & Evil, and finish up Resident Evil 0. Crippler
After March, I think I'll be taking a loong break on game purchases, as I own over 120 next-gen games. Other than Halo 2 and maybe Front Mission 4, there is point to buying sequels to games you haven't beaten...that should give me good time to catch up. Hey, being that I was out of touch with gaming for a while in my late teens (just as consoles were really taking off), it actually came as a surprise to me after getting back into games that most of them had endings. I grew-up playing games in arcades where they very rarely had endings. The idea was pretty foreign to me for quite some time...
JFo
So far this year, I've beaten the following games: Grand Theft Auto III Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Beyond Good & Evil Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time(I played through this one a second time last weekend.) Ratchet and Clank (Again, a title that I decided to play through a second time.) Metroid: Zero Mission Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus Next up is Sphinx and Cursed Mummy. Then along comes March with Ninja Gaiden, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. Yep, that will be a busy month. EDIT: I updated my list to include Sly Cooper. :green:

Graeme
I've finished BG&E and Prince of Persia. Since then I've been skipping around way too much to get anywhere on anything. Must get back on track.
foogledricks
Hmm. I'm a pathetic POS. After Christmas I started but did not complete GTAIII, Otogi, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Brute Force. Am currently working on Deux Ex II and just ordered Ninja Gaiden! I'm gonna try to sell back Otogi and Brute Force since the other games are so much more worth it. Then I still have Amped II, Indiana Jones, and GTA:VC in shrinkwrap. Thank God Half-Life 2 and Halo 2 aren't coming out till the end of the year. Romier S
I'm gonna try to sell back Otogi and Brute Force You'll get pittance for both. Not worth selling either IMHO. BF is now a 19.99 title and Otogi can be found for 14.99-19.99 in most places. Most you'd get for each is 9-12 bucks (which to me is personally not enough to sell off a game but that just me ). rustyjaw
I predict that the next (and maybe only) game I will 'finish' is CMR4...maybe not on the hardest level (which is supposed to be a really brutal simulation), but on whatever level I can play at.
