Peter O
Only 8 months after the game was released  Do we need to start a new game to visit this place or just reload a save from the middle of the game?
JTello
It may have taken a while, but better late than never! Especially with KOTOR. :tu:

Derrik Draven
Eh, great game, no doubt but, I sold it months ago. Little too little too late.
matt
Maybe this will spur me to finally get into this game again. I started it once, but never had the time to play. Now I have more of a reason.
Beer Monkey
The trend continues...publishers releasing DLC after many players have sold the game into the secondary market. DLC is a great feature, but content needs to be earlier and more spread out to get the most benefit.
secretvampire
Well, I'm glad to see it. I played through this game twice which I almost NEVER EVER do, because I loved it so much and had to see both paths. And I rarely ever sell my old games (don't want the regret later!) so I look forward to playing some new content...
Robot Monkey
Did anyone else try the new DLC? I played it last night and it seemed like there wasn't much to it (15 minutes of gameplay).
blackcalx
If Yavin on Xbox is anything like the PC version there is more than 15 minutes of gameplay there. The problem with releasing it now, when many people have already completed the game, is that various things happen at Yavin during different parts of the game. If done correctly there are some very powerful things to be had at Yavin. Also, the Rodian there pays a good chunk of money for winning at Pazaak. The Daisy
The problem with releasing it now, when many people have already completed the game, is that various things happen at Yavin during different parts of the game Ugh. Not only am I done with the game, but I don't really feel like putting in another 30 hours just to get use of the content. This was pretty badly timed by the people at Lucasarts. You don't have to start over unless you deleted your saved games. Whether it's worth it or not, I can't tell yet. But, hey, the price is right. Chris The Rock
This finally gave me the push I needed to start my re-play. Frankly, I'm happy - though it would have been nice to get this before the holidays.
splunk
For anyone reading that doesn't own the game yet, it just dropped in price to $29.99 at GameStop today.
Mithran
If you haven't downloaded the new update for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic you need to. Trust me guys it's awsome. The new planet is called Yavin 4. The resting place of Exar Kun quite possibly the first actual Sith Lord ever. You don't actually visit the planet but a space station orbiting the planet. THere you will find a Rodian inventor who has some awsome items that are worth picking up. They are expensive but if you have credits and lots of them buy the stuff. You must go to the planet three times. Once to just say hello, again to ward off his attackers and the third after you have the star map on Korriban, to kill his attackers. Once you do all three and kill his attackers he will sell you his special stash. In this stash there are two new light saber crystals that go into the color slot. One is called Mantle of the Force and gives your saber a blue color like the original light sabe wielded by Luke Skywalker in Episode 4. The other is called Heart of the Guardian and is more powerful. It gives your saber a bright orange hugh. Both saber crystals alter the power crystals and make them more dangerous. Here is a link for the rest of the items.Kotor

exile
DLC is a great feature, but content needs to be earlier and more spread out to get the most benefit. Maybe they are doing it to spur more sales. I bet they think that the folks that sold it off are going to want to pick it up again.
Mithran
Hey guys, just got an email from Lucas Arts. Seems they just announced that they will be producing KOTOR II. It's supposed to take place 5 years after KOTOR and will even reintroduce some of the characters from the first KOTOR. We'll see check it out at Sith Lords
dogbert
There's a long discussion of KOTOR2 here in General Gaming, Mithran. Has a lot of info about the game. Looks good!
HellzViolator
This doesn't have to do with the DLC, but, finishing the game in the "LIGHT" side give you a different ending than the "DARK"? Also... Does the game changes as you progress through and start to turn EVIL !? If so, how? (No Sploilers PLEASE!!!! Just an example)
dogbert
Yes, different endings depending on light/dark. The storyline twists & the interactions between you & npcs change depending on light/dark too, yes.
HellzViolator
Oh.... I guess I'll be playing that soon! Thanks!
