Carlucci
Cool thread! I just saw this on the USA network: On Monday at 8:00 Eastern, during their showing of Final Destination, they will include the 1st 10 minutes of Dawn of the Dead, Uncut and Uncensored. Is there a new Kill Bill v2 trailer? Carlos.
Mark E
Mmm, the Hellboy trailer makes me all warm and fuzzy for the movie to come out. I have high hopes for this one; hopefully it lives up to them at least partway. That Punisher trailer is surprisingly choice too. I had no real hope for the flick, but now I'm at least interested in seeing it. Strangely, the fact that it's a Marvel movie makes me want to see it too. rustyjaw
I'm really looking forward to I, Robot, with Will Smith and Bridget Moynahan, directed by Alex Proyas (who did Dark City and The Crow) There's a trailer, but its really more of a play on the movie itself, in the form of an advertisement for the robotic assistant at the center of the story: http://www.irobotnow.com/videoclip.html (quicktime movie) There's also a kind of featurette (done in flash) that talks about the plot set-up. The Daisy
No Harry Potter? Blasphemy. HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban Man... I can't wait to see the Dementors.... Glen
Kain rising
I know this movie's come up elsewhere on the forum, but I'm still hoping it turns out to be as cool as it looks to be.. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
Angel P
they will include the 1st 10 minutes of Dawn of the Dead, Uncut and Uncensored. Really, must check it out. Is there a new Kill Bill v2 trailer? No, the same one as before. Strangely, the fact that it's a Marvel movie makes me want to see it too. Funny, I feel the same way. At this point, I almost feel that Marvel can't loose. Even though Daredevil wasn't great. I'm really looking forward to I, Robot I've heard of it but don't know much about it. No Harry Potter? Blasphemy. I'm sorry I didn't include it. Not much of a fan of the Potter series. Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow Saw this trailer. Looks interesting. Angel P
Saw this on DavisDVD.com: ====== Just to let you know, you can score a free 10-minute sneak preview promo DVD for the upcoming film Hellboy at Best Buy stores this week. The offer, as they say, is limited to stock on hand. If you don't make it to a store, you can always download and watch the piece here. ======
Mark E
Even though Daredevil wasn't great Agreed, but I blame part of that on thirty minutes being cut out of the film. Once the director's cut comes out next year we'll see if I'm right .
Guest Bryan
The new Scooby Doo live action film should be out in the next week or two. Not high drama, but a great movie to take the kids to see.

Chris F
Well, I've never read the book - which I probably should before I see the movie - but it certainly "looked" good in the trailer. Of course, I have no sound on my PC here at work, so I can't comment on any dialogue or anything. I love Alex Proyas though, as I seriously enjoyed both The Crow and Dark City. This looks very different from those style of films though. I'll definitely see it, hopefully after I've read the book.
Angry the Clown
Quote I have no sound on my PC here at work, so I can't comment on any dialogue or anything. This is were it goes so very wrong. You've got Smith making wise ass remarks left right and centre. There is a slim chance the trailer is just a mess thanks to the Fox marketing department, but honestly things are not looking too good here at all. It's too early to deem Proyas a sell out here, but one almost has to double check this is a Proyas film. Quote Well, I've never read the book - which I probably should before I see the movie The book is a collection of stories, to the best of my knowledge the film is not a single take on any one of those stories, but takes more inspiration from them and the issues they raise. Chris F
You've got Smith making wise ass remarks left right and centre. Ah. Well, that kills any movie Will Smith is in, although some are more suited for that type of performance. Without sound the trailer looked really serious, and I thought to myself "Wow, I hope Will Smith doesn't keep up his wise-ass comments act." As a matter of fact, I thought maybe he didn't. Guess I was wrong. I'd love to see him do a movie like this without being his typical self.
Robot Monkey
I'm looking forward to Spartan. I like David Mamet and I'm hearing good things about the movie. -j
adamsappel
Reading the Hollywoodized Three Laws of Robotics is like reading the New International version of the Bible: all the poetry has been sucked out of it. That said, "Laws are made to be broken" is pretty cool. The movie itself looks like it sucks. I love Dark City, and I, Robot seems like just another big budget, CGI sci-fi flick. kelley
Reviving this thread to point some people in the direction of the film Garden State. rustyjaw
The movie itself looks like it sucks. I love Dark City, and I, Robot seems like just another big budget, CGI sci-fi flick. I'm beginning to get the same impression, I hope I'm wrong. It's always good to keep your expectations low, I guess :?
Whooter
Saw the new trailer for I, Robot today in front of Hellboy, and I thought it looked pretty cool. Of course, I'm a sucker for "big budget, CGI sci-fi flick"s. I've never read the book (heretic!), so I don't have any pre-concieved notions... Angel P
New I, Robot trailer up. Looks good. Alien Vs Predator: Making of the Creatures Featurette is also up. Also looking forward to this one. :tu:
Chris F
Once again, I have no sound at my job, but I like the cut of that trailer more than the first one that was posted. It looks like they cut WIll SMiths trademark "humor" from this one, although with no sound, I can't tell precisely. But I didn't see him smirking or laughing at his own jokes during this trailer. I'll see this movie, even if it is just for the special effects, whcih I think look phenomenal. Those robots look very creepy to me for some reason. Plus I haven't been disappointed with an Alex Proyas film yet.
Angel P
You're right, Chris. This trailer is void of Smith's "humor". And I totally agree with you regarding the robots.
