Angry the Clown
I'm a little curious of the 21 Grams DVD. The extras announced for it a while back never made it onto the disc (its barebones). One has to wonder then if a special edition is not due later down the line, though such a thing closely after an initial release is rare from Universal..... this then makes me think Criterion. I'll get The Flinstones: Season 1, Commitments: Special Edition at some point. Daniel
Guest Bryan
Flintstones Season 1, Scooby Seasons 1 & 2 and Married With Children Season 2. I was struck by how 'bad' season 1 of MWC was - only in regard to how great it was in later seasons. It took a while to find its legs, just like Star Trek:TNG IMO. Xbox ------ Pandora Tomorrow Worms 3D Trivial Pursuit ESPN Baseball PC --- Syberia 2 Far Cry PS2 ---- FF XI (not sure on this, I've talked myself into and out of it several times. Right now it's actually on the "skip it" side.) Resident Evil Outbreak (the 30th actually for this one) Add in UT2004 and Battlefield Vietnam THIS week, and I need every penny I can scrounge up... Failsafe
The Running Man Scooby Doo: S1 & S2 21 Grams will be a rental for me. I'd suspect that a big special edition is in the works for this one. There would have been a TON of behind-the-scenes material shot during and after filming. The fact that they pulled special features originally announced only increases my suspicions.

Likewise...although I find myself so rarely viewing extras that I'll probably just go ahead and pick up this edition of 21 Grams. I'm really itching to pick up some titles I've ignored for a while, too -- I might order Twitch of the Death Nerve, Blue Sunshine, the special edition of Brain Damage, and Squirm this week too (although I won't watch them until LCVG is done; promise!). Angry the Clown
although I find myself so rarely viewing extras Yes, I am much the same (Criterion supplements being the greatest exception more often than not). It did actually occur to me that whilst Universal have now and again let Criterion do some of their catalogue (Brazil, Fear and Loathing, Spartacus...etc), 21 Grams was produced by Focus, and Universal just help them out on home video in the US perhaps opening it up for an even greater chance for a Criterion issue. I speculate of course. For now, I'll try to hold out on 21 Grams, a shame as I am anxious to see it. I must add the Scooby set to my planned eventual releases too, of course. kittycatgirl2k
Definitely: Flinstones Season 1, The Running Man (already preordered), Pretear #4 Maybe: 21 Grams Guilty I Shouldn't-Be-Doing-This-Purchase: The Last Unicorn I love The Last Unicorn and I am absolutely steamed that Artisan or whomever is shoveling a FULL FRAME piece of crap version at us while the Germans get a beautifully packaged two disc set in anamorphic widescreen with 5.1 in English. I mean I should just buy that and keep it til I get a PAL compatible DVD player but I've wanted this movie so long that... I am just going to probably get the crapo version and deal with it. *sigh*.... /end of rant.
