adamsappel
Gamestop class action notice Gamestop has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit stemming from their policy of selling some "returned" games as "new". Meh, this has never bothered me. And the punishment is typical for lawsuits of this kind, a 5% off coupon for something else purchased from Gamestop. Yeah, I was getting all excited reading that as I mentally checked off all the requirements to become a member of the settlement... then I saw the 5% off thingy - what a waste! Heh, it's a good thing the courts are teaching corporate America responsibility with tough penalties like that!
Sam P
I have a big problem with buying used items that are sold as new. That's not what I'm told I'm paying for. I feel cheated. If the store takes returns on opened items even if they aren't defective, it should sell those items off at a discounted "opened box" price, much like a display model sale. If the item is defective, the customer should be entitled to an exchange of same item ONLY.
