Bruce B
Just curious what you guys are watching that you must watch every week. Here's my list, in no particular order: 1. Survivor- Have watched every season. Like it because they are always finding ways to tweak it to make it new. 2. American Idol- My wife roped me into this one and I hate to admit I'm hooked. A guilty pleasure 3. "24" Well done action/drama. Kiefer Sutherland is great in it. His daughter annoys the hell out of me though( she always gets herself in predicaments) 4. Forensic Files- Love the "whodunnit" murder mystery stuff and how forensics have revolutionized solving murders. I like it better than CSI. rustyjaw
Survivor, I've also watched every season. The Simpsons - when I can. Anything I miss will be seen on DVD over the next decade. Arrested Development - funniest show I've seen in a while. Brilliant writing. Nova - PBS science shows are a staple for me.
Robot Monkey
Not counting football, only Arrested Development. Heads up fans: new episode tonight (Wednesday)! I'll watch The Daily Show with John Stewart, Good Eats with Alton Brown sometimes, but neither is "must-see." There're just too many things I enjoy more than watching TV, I guess. -j
Thrillho
The Apprentice, even though I'm not the biggest realilty show person. The Real Worl, pretty much cause the blond on there right now may be the hottest girl ever on the show...WOW  But I can miss those above shows and not fret about it. Can't miss for me are: Simpson, just look at my sig and the little milhouse guy over there!!!! Smallville. I don't know why I like this so much since 80% of the episodes is Clark saving Lana, but I'm a sucker for it!!!! and her!!!!! Scrubs...just damn funny!!! American Chopper. Paul Tuttle Sr. funniest damn guy on TV!!!! Oh yeah and pretty much anything on the History Channel
Mark E
Just Survivor for me, I have also seen every season; they do indeed do a good job tweaking it every season, which does a great deal to keep it fresh. This season is one of the best in years, and only Africa was really mediocre in my mind. I watch a lot of tv on DVD though, mostly BBC programs. I'm a big fan of MI-5, The Office, Doctor Who, Futurama, and Mystery Science Theater 3000. If I had cable I'd happily indulge myself in CSI and every crime show on A&E. I have great love for American Justice, Cold Case Files, and City Confidential.
Chris
I watch only hockey and The Sopranos on TV. If I'm sitting in front of the TV I'm usually either watching movies or playing games.
Beer Monkey
24, but this is likely my last season. Survivor The Amazing Race, this summer. World Poker Tour, Wed/Sun on Travel Channel. Mythbusters on Discovery. Space Ghost, Aqua Teens, and Sealab on Adult Swim. Those are my essentials.

Josh
Current favorites on my DVR: Daily Show with Jon Stewart Curb Your Enthusiasm Sopranos Airline Fitness Fantasy (I know, I know... I'm just really into fitness crap) World Poker Tour Real World / Road Rules Challenge Crank Yankers Chapelle's Show
Zathras
If not for tivo I would never catch anything but the few things I watch are: Simpsons Myth Busters Aqua Teen Hunger Force and the occasional South Park One thing to keep an eye out for on Comedy Central is when they replay episodes of the very short lived series Gerhad Reinke's Wanderlust Very very funny stuff. Cyberwoo
Monday evening I'm tuned into Discovery Channel for the must see threesome of Monster House, Monster Garage and American Chopper. Dunno why but I find it fascinating watching these guys build cool things. The great thing about those shows is if I miss them when they start @ 8:00PST they rerun them from 11pm to 2:00am. Other than that I dont really watch anything religiously. My most watched channels are History, Discovery, ESPN, Speed, and Animal Planet. I've never been a big fan of prime time tv on the big three (ABC, CBS, NBC). I hate all the damn reality shows, dont care for the police dramas (been there done that) and most of the comedies dont appeal to me (the exception being Scrubs...great show). I miss the glory days of the Simpsons. I used to watch that religiously but I dont watch it anymore. The writing just isn't nearly as good as it used to be. I find the humor has lost some of its innocences and charming appeal. Seems to be alot more in your face forced humor and physical comedy than witty writing these days. Anyway I cant wait for all the seasons to be released on dvd.
Whooter
Let's see, I'm a TV junkie: Alias, 24, CSI, CSI: Miami, NCIS, Crossing Jordan (can you tell I like procedural shows?), That 70's Show, The Sopranos, X-Play, Mythbusters, MXC, Star Trek: Enterprise, Survivor, Tru Calling, NHL Centre Ice (Let's go Pens!) Well, I record all that stuff. Most of it gets watched, but occasionally something gets missed (Not Alias or 24, though)... Edited to add a couple of things I forgot earlier... The Charlie Sheen show I forgot the name off on Mon/Tues nights.. Mtv's Pimp my ride(Not sure why I tivo'd this show..) Dennis Miller's Talkshow on CNBC The only show I make time around is Apprentice otherwise I'm covered on my Directivo.
PoisonJam
CSI and now the Sopranos are the only shows I really make an effort to catch "live". I like to catch an episode or two of the Simpsons in syndication here and there, and there are several shows I like on Comedy Central: The Daily Show, Chapelle's Show, Insomniac, and even South Park once in a while. Other than that, it's football or basketball, depending on the season. The next three weeks will be all college hoops all the time, hooray! Oh, and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" when I can find it, as well. Good call on Alton Brown, Jay. I really like his show, and I even have his cookbook, although I've yet to make anything from either.
Andy Sheets
Nothing for me, although the Chappelle Show is pretty fun when I stumble across it. It takes a lot for me to get into a show as "appointment television". Last show I watched relatively faithfully was Firefly, although even then I missed a few episodes thanks to the on/off scheduling.
JTello
1. The Shield (FX Channel) - A great gritty police drama. HBO quality show, not on HBO. 2. Tru-Calling - Hot chick with super-natural powers, :tu: 3. American Idol & Nashville Star (see Bruce's explanation above) -Both of these shows have stronger talent bases than past years shows. 4. The Real World (also add Real World Road Rules Challenge to this) -----from above - Thillho, the blond on there right now may be the hottest girl ever on the show -----I first thought she was cute, but her personality has changed my opinion. The Asian girl, now she is pretty fine! She seems like a kind and innocent person yet still very strong, ... a rare combination for a Real World cast member indeed. 5. Trading Spaces - My girlfriend is fine with my crush on Paige Davis because she likes the show, and because I let her crush on Tom Brady. :green: 6. Newlyweds, Nick and Jessica, (see # 3. for explanation) -They do make me laugh too, but if my GF didn't watch neither would I. (Sacrifices, sacrifices!) 7. Pimp My Ride -has caught my attention. Although the presentation is very bland it's fun to see what they do to the cars. A MADE for Tivo type show! I might as well throw Extreme Makeover and Extreme Makeover Home Edition in here as well, ... as shows I Tivo and just watch the beginning and end of. 8. Sportscenter. 8) 9. Car and Driver Television (syndicated) 10. Oh, and E.R. too
Mark E
The Amazing Race, this summer. Forgot this one. Just got into AR last year but if they bring it back I will never miss an episode. Fantastic show.

Joel- I also like this show, not as much this year, but do you really think someone can actually be that dumb? I guess you cant have it all because she is a remarkably attractive young lady. Also I found I liked the "Til Death do us part" with Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra. I found him to be quite witty and smart and Carmen to be quite down to earth and not a bimbo. I was pleasantly surprised.

I guess you cant have it all because she is a remarkably attractive young lady. I know what your saying,... but think of this,... I think she's very intelligent. You know she plays dumb more often than she is actually dumb, but more importantly, she has been able to revitalize her career through this simple little show. I'm convinced she's not nearly as dumb as she comes across,... although she's sure to pull a few boneheads from time to time (don't we all). Anyone who can sings as well as she does has to have a good amount of intelligence. Of couse, she could always be an idiot-savant!

Adam Tyner
Not much -- just Angel, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and now Wonderfalls.
Romier S
Not much for me either. Angel, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Sopranos (and Carnivale when it was on). Plan to add the new HBO series Deadwood to that too. Problem is with TV on DVD becoming so prevelant I don't really care to watch television in a normal capacity unless the show really warrants my attention. (ie waiting to see how the storylines end etc..) Most of the times I'm more than happy waiting for the DVD release where I can take in the show at my own pace. Kind of why I refused to watch the last 2 Seasons of Buffy on TV. I started watching the show in DVD and I swore to myself I would be patient and wait on the DVD releases so I wouldn't be all over the place storyline wise. Josh
Agreed, Romier. That's what DVRs are for. The only show I watch live (aside from sports) is Daily Show.
kelley
King of Queens Survivor CSI Without a Trace Real World (frankie has me hooked this season) RW/RR Challenge (guilty as sin pleasure) The Sopranos Real Time with Bill Maher Also I can't wait for the new season of Six Feet Under, I was pissed when I heard that it wasn't showing until Summer.
