Robot Monkey
Hmm. I think I prefer the old one. What say you, Peanut Gallery? -j
Thrillho
the old one
Whooter
I like the new one.
JTello
Cut the words "Xbox Live" from the new one and put them on the old one and you'd have the best combo, IMO.
rustyjaw
I like the "Robot Monkey" type (is that the font Deville Thruster?) on the old one, but the size of the new one is more readable.
Robot Monkey
The old one is called Magneto Bold. Available here for Windows or Mac. I wanted to use it again, but I no longer have it since I did a clean install of XP and I can't remember what software installed it. -j
Robot Monkey
Oh and the current one is a public domain one I picked up somewhere called LCD.
PoisonJam
I like the old one better, but the new one does have a more...robotic...theme.
rustyjaw
I'll have to check and see if I have that font (I have about 1500, I'm often surprised at what I find), it's quite nice. Deville Thruster is a little different, a little more linear.

Failsafe
I actually prefer the more 'robotic' font of the second version. The XBOX LIVE part looks better now. BTW, where do you download templates for gamertag logos? Also, how do you apply that white sheen to your logo and avatar?
Robot Monkey
I'll post a template for the avatar for you. Let me dig it up up. You'll need PhotoShop or PaintShop Pro to use it (it uses layers). The gamertag logo I made from pieces I grabbed from various parts of the Xbox web iste. -j
adamsappel
You don't want to know how he gets that white sheen on there.
Robot Monkey
Jeremy, here you go: Layered PSD file You will need an image editor that support layered files. GIMP, Photoshop and PaintShop Pro should all work. And another test: EDIT: Nah. -j
Failsafe
Thank you, sir! BEHOLD. My new avatar. I have now joined the ranks of the 'white sheen'.

Ryan FB
Another new Live sig style: If anyone wants a template for it or the one I made for IceBlast, just ask.
Failsafe
Could you send me that template? E-mail is in my profile.
Ryan FB
It should be up here. And a new avatar to match the sig, now with 100% less semi-supported PNG transparency! :tu:
