Which Color GameCube do you own?

  1. 1. Which Color GameCube do you own?

Recommended Posts

Myself? I imported my GameCube from Japan a month before their release here in the States. At the time, I was stuck with only one choice: indigo!. Of course, even if I had waited until the US launch, I would have picked that color. There's just something about it I like.

If I had to pick nowadays though, I would go for the platinum model to match my GBA SP. Those things are slick.

Indigo, and my replacement Cube will also be Indigo if I have something to say about it.

I don't like black consoles basically, so it's a personal thing.

I would have been ALL over the Spice ones if Nintendo had deemed us worthy of such a color. I have one spice controller that I bought and plugged into the first player slot and has never left it since. In honor :).

Black here, just because I prefer it over indigo. However, I would snap up a Spice GC in a heartbeat. The only reason my Spice controller was replaced in position one was because of the Wavebird.

That said, I really really wish I could justify the expense of buying one of those emerald controllers from Lik-Sang.

I love my purple cube, but I'd have wanted Spice if it was available in the UK. I still wouldn't have been allowed it, as the Wife Acceptance Factor is just way, way out, but I've got this thing for orange stuff.

In fact, I'd have got the Orange Pok?mon GBA SP, too, if they weren't such a nightmare to find.

Ouch, Iain, your wife dictates your Cube color? Hardcore ;)

Well, she wouldn't have minded the black, but really objected to the idea of me importing a shiny bright orange thing to sit in the middle of the living room. It was hard enough to argue for the silver TV set.
