Angry the Clown
Christopher Eccleston has officially been cast as the new Dr Who for his thirteen part return series in 2005. I personally think it is a really terrific choice, and with the solid writing team being the new series, everything seems to be falling into place nicely. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/t...dio/3552087.stm It was also reported last week that the legal issues surrounding the Daleks have perhaps been resolved allowing them to make an apperance in the 2005 series. dogbert
I think this is a great choice, big fan of Chris, especially in "Our Friends in the North". And from what I've been hearing about the writing team, as odd as it sounds to have a bunch of comedy writers behind it, they're all hardcore Dr.Who fans who were heavily involved in the Big Fish novels & audio productions, so they know the material really well. I think it might just work out...
Mark E
It's actually Big Finish, Brian, FYI. I'm not familiar with the new guy, but then again it's not that big an issue to me, I haven't known any of the actors outside of Doctor Who .
