Angry the Clown
The Rundown, Ransom, Splash, Something's Gotta Give. You know this is a non-anamorphic super old mess of a transfer used on the new edition of Ransom and despite the Howard commentary is not even the Director's cut of the film released to Laserdisc, right? :x I honestly don't know why Disney even bother these days. Just Dirty Pretty Things for me. Daniel
Failsafe
non-anamorphic super old mess of a transfer You've got to be kidding! What a joke. Just Splash for me and I'll rent Shattered Glass or wait to see it on PPV.
Hank Scorpio
Dirty Pretty Things was a great flick. There's a bunch of rentals for me this week, like Honey. I'm sure it's a fascinating look into the world of Hip-Hop video dancers.
Angel P
Daniel, thanks for bringing this up. I usually read all threads on the HTF that interest me but tend to not follow them after awhile. Thus, the reason why I didn't know about this when it was first mentioned. Shame on Buena Vista. No sale. For fans of Tom Hanks: copies of Splash and Ransom will have a $9 movie cash certificate for The Ladykillers. Also, I've edited the list to remove Something's Gotta Give. Apparently it doesn't street until the 30th.
Ryan FB
Also, I've edited the list to remove Something's Gotta Give. Apparently it doesn't street until the 30th. Interesting, I was in Target today and they had an ad running on the TV's in the DVD section saying that the Something's Gotta Give DVD was coming out the 23rd. Must have been a fairly last-minute change from the studio.
Andy Sheets
I'll be getting The Rundown. I hope the movie does well on dvd as it kind of bombed in theaters even though the Rock did a great job in the movie. It'd be a shame if his career as an action hero got slowed up because people still haven't forgiven him for The Scorpion King
