What was your "Signature"?

Playing Robotron in our high-score contest has sparked memories of the good old days of video gaming.

I remember when the first games came out with persistent memory chips that could retain the initials of the high score kings. You could take intense pride in entering your 3-letter initials gracing the top scores list on a video game.

So what was your signature? Did you just post your real initials, or did you get creative?

For me, I was always either ZEP, or ZIZ

ZEP, for my love of Led Zeppelin.

ZIZ, because I thought it looked and sounded cool.

Now, on Midway's Arcade Treasures, I am putting DAD down, just so my kids know that their old man hasn't lost his touch!

First three letters of my last name

SEK

pronounced seek

pretty much was a nickname groing up, some still call me this to this day, but most have moved on to calling me by the whole last name... Sekel. I always thought it was kinda funny that people shortened an already short name.

IAN - yes, I know that I'll happily bite people's heads off for spelling it incorrectly when they have an opportunity to do it right, but when its only three letters wide, what can you do?

or

MID - still use this name here and there, depending on mood. Short for MidKnight, the name of my superhero in some ultra-sad pen-and-paper RPG we used to play as kids, originally. No, I can't even remember what it was called, either.

Guest Bryan

I was never good enough to get a chance to type anything in.

I would probably have gone with something like 'tit' or a similar sophomoric one.

LOL!

You know, aside from the occasional "ASS", I don't recall seeing too many profane choices back in the day.

You could have had: FUX, SUX or one of my favorites if it allows numbers:

4Q2
